This poor baby is only 1 years old. Parents have had it groomed twice with full sedation. Dad left long instructions about how the last time his dog got groomed suffered from blade burn and how he wants his dog groomed...under sedation!?!?! This poor baby has not gotten to learn how to act during the grooming process. I spoke to the mom before I started and she was so apologetic explaining they are never home. The dog doesn't get walked as I could tell by the length of the nails which still had puppy length. The pup stays with her elderly mother who is only able to open the door to the yard while they work. Mom and I spoke about brush techniques and socializing due to the aggressiveness of this young pup.He was in such a bad way that he bit me while just barely touching him. While under sedation every time i touched him he flintched. It breaks my heart! Tried to educate the parents on how important brushing is but dad wasn't hearing it. He freaked about the $210 bill though!
Well I'm not understanding why people don't get that if you maintain your DOODLES coat your groom bill would be smaller. He was outrages that I didn't brush his dog out. But NOW he is trying to say that his dog is bruised and pooping blood smh which is some how my fault?? Dad told manager that he wants to get his doodle groomed every 3 months which he doesn't seem to understand thw severity of sedating a young dog. I'm disappointed in the vet clinic that I work for that would agree to sedate this PUPPY for a simple groom I stead of Making the parents be responsible 😢
