Some FAQ's about our grooming services!
⭐We require Bordetella, Rabies and DHPP vaccines in order for your pup to be groomed.
⭐Pricing is based off your pets weight.
⭐We offer hair dye!
⭐Grooming can take up to 4-5 hours.
⭐Have a poodle or poodle mix? Your pups coat will be assessed at drop off to ensure there is no severe matting.
⭐We only have one groomer which ensures your pups gets our full attention their entire appointment!

We are celebrating TWO birthdays today!
We want to wish Ashlyn and Rainey a very Happy Birthday!

Ashlyn has been such an amazing part of the Barkmore team. She has shown so much growth over the years and always sets a good example. She shows so much love and tender care for each and every dog. We know Ashlyn is going to do great things in this beautiful life of hers!

Rainey is such a kind hearted soul and always loves on the pups like they are her own. She is always so kind and caring towards all members of our staff and clients. We have been so grateful to be able to be a small part of her life her in Chattanooga while she has been attending UTC.

We love you both so immensely and hope you have an amazing day!

It's been a busy few weeks and we hope everyone had a great holiday!🎄

We are excited to finally announce our January Pet(s) of The Month... Elliot and Oliver Smith!

Elliot has been a long time daycare goer at the Barkmore. We were so excited to hear that Elliot got a new brother, Oliver, to join him!
Elliot loves to get scratches from the staff and take a good nap somewhere close by to you. Oliver loves to wrestle with his friends and play with all the toys he possibly can. Elliot's best friends are any of our staff members and Oliver's besties are Sweet Brown and Twig!

It's Zoe's Birthday! 🎂🎉💙

Zoe has been with us at Barkmore In The Country for over 3 years! Zoe is our enrichment coordinator and creates all of our structured daycare practices for each day. She also helps by assisting with our events, keeps all our common areas organized and comes up with new and fun ideas so your pups have a fulfilling time while they are with us!

Lick paintings were such a hit last year and we will be offering them again next week! Have your pup-casso show you their artistic skills with this fun activity! 🖌

Here's how it works: Your pup will be given a ziplock bag that has peanut butter on the outside of the bag and their painting with paint on the inside. As they lick away their favorite treat, they are painting at the same time!🎨

Paintings are $10 and will be offered from December 16th through December 20th. Message us or call if you'd like to sign up!🎄

Yesterday, our receptionist and long time staff member, Marie, had to say goodbye to her beloved dog, Kate. Kate was a 13 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback. She was always so sweet, regal and a loyal pup. Since 2017, she’s put up with her two wild chihuahua siblings (😆) and adored her parents Marie and Jerry. She loved chasing squirrels and would always find herself a perfect spot for a nap. All of us here at the Barkmore are going to miss this sweet girl and are wishing Marie nothing but peace during this difficult time❤️
We love you Marie!

Let’s walk into our Leash Control activity! 🪢 •Leash control is a training technique for basic leash manners. This activity can help dogs succeed better when going on walks with their owners. 🐾 •It’s when a dog is on a loose loop leash, meaning that there is no tension in the leash & the dog must follow alongside the kennel tech. •This activity teaches the dog to not pull on the leash, to focus on the kennel tech, and to be obedient with heeling. 🐕‍🦺 •Lastly, if a pup is having issues with invading other dogs space, Leash Control is a great way to teach those space boundaries!
