This girl is so smart! We use the word “OFF” as a release command for toys and objects. We are working on bringing us a toy (first started on a leash - then moved to a small room), saying “”YES” while giving a little tug play as a simple reward, and then using the “off” command. Of course her reward is to chase it all over again! This is a simple and easy training session that will be very useful when playing fetch OR if they get a hold of an unwanted object they shouldn’t have.

This girl is getting a clean shave before meeting her new family tomorrow morning! 😍

This one escaped this morning and wanted to be next to me. So we started training! We use the word “YES” then give a reward. I’m not asking her to do anything, no commands, just rewarding her when she sits and makes eye contact! Poodles are HIGHLY intelligent and catch on easily. These pups are doing so well at coming when called. We’ve introduced new bed, toys, kennel, and sounds and every single pup has been very confident and curious with all the new things. 🥰

Our daughter asked Santa for “4 week old puppy toys” 😍 of course Santa delivered. They were more interested in trying to get to us (it was dinner time) than playing with toys!
