Kelley has a huge heart for rescue—whether it’s picking up “free puppies” from parking lots or finding abandoned animals on backcountry dirt roads, she’s always there for the four-legged friends who can’t speak for themselves.

As one of our original fosters, Kelley has been with Finding Forever since day one. Her commitment goes far beyond just giving pups a place to sleep—she creates a space where they can heal, grow, and thrive. 💛

Palmer’s Story ❤️🐾

We met Palmer on April 23rd — she had been dumped on Babbie Road and was found sitting in the middle of the road, waiting. As if hoping her owner might come back for her. The loyalty of a dog is like nothing else.

Nearly two months later, this gorgeous girl has blossomed into the loving, playful, and gentle soul we always knew she was. Palmer is ready now — ready for her forever family!

🌟 National Foster a Pet Month Spotlight 🌟

Five years ago, Delana had no idea that fostering would change her life—and so many animals' lives—for the better. It started when a family member was fostering two puppies. They adopted the male, and Delana fell in love with the female—Stella—who became part of her family (pictured).

That one adoption led to a journey of compassion.

At first, Delana helped Finding Forever by transporting animals. But soon, she opened her home as a foster—giving both cats and dogs a second chance. While it’s never easy to say goodbye, she says the reward is in knowing there’s always another animal who needs a safe space to land.

At Finding Forever Dog and Cat Rescue, we are an entirely foster-based organization, and this month is the perfect time to highlight the amazing difference fostering makes in the lives of our animals!

Why Foster?

Fostering provides a loving, temporary home for animals in need, helping them to adjust to family life, recover from trauma, and show their true personalities. It also gives them the best shot at finding their forever home!
