s and Our adoption Policy. Before Friendly Hoppers can consider you for a visit on adopting a bunny. Please request and fill out our Adoption Form and get it back to us to review. Then if you see a bunny you might want to adopt, consider contacting us to make an appointment to come visit the bunny and place your deposit in person. Let us know ASAP as bunnies go fast! A 50% deposit will be required to hold your bunny until he or she is ready to go home. If you are interested in adopting a bunny but do not see the type of bunny you want available, please feel free to contact us. We may know someone who has the type of bunny you are looking for. Adoption Policies:
By reserving or adopting any bunny, you have agreed to our sales policies listed below. Please take the time to read them.

1) We reserve the right to refuse any adoption, at any time, for any reason. If we are the ones to decide this, any deposits will be returned.

2) Absolutely no bunnies will be adopted before the age of 8 weeks.

3) Bunnies are not held without a deposit. All deposits are non-refundable, unless otherwise agreed upon. No bunny is considered on hold until the deposit is received. Bunny adoptions are a first come first serve basis, if you are looking for a particular color or s*x please e-mail us and we can put you on a waiting list.

4) Once you have chosen your bunny and you have notified us of your intention to adopt him or her. We will place a pending status on that bunny. The 50% deposit must be received within 7 days of you notifying us of your intention to adopt, unless otherwise agreed upon. We cannot control the mail, if you are mailing your deposit and are worried about it taking longer than the 7-day holding time. We will waive that 7 day hold if you send your deposit by certified mail and give us the tracking number on the day you mail it. If the deposit comes after the agreed date and the bunny has been put under another deposit, we will return your deposit or credit it towards another bunny of your choice.

5) When the day of pick up comes, the person or people listed for the bunny’s daily care and happiness MUST come to pick up the bunny, payment must be finished before any bunny leaves. Any money due on day of pickup must be in cash, no other forms of payment will be accepted. If when you come we decide you are not an acceptable fit for the bunny we will refund your deposit and not allow you to take the bunny. (This has not happened as of yet but we do reserve this right)

6) Transporting your bunny from our location. If your adoption does not include a carrier, we recommend a cat/bunny carrier that is an appropriate size for the bunny you are getting. You can also bring a temporary smaller cage (must be big enough for the bunny to be able to move and turn around in). We will not allow any bunny to leave being held in a towel/blanket/etc. Also, no cardboard boxes for transportation. We will have the final say on what is acceptable for transporting, if you have any concerns about what you plan on using please ask before coming.

7) All of our bunnies will be healthy to the best of our knowledge, at the time of sale. Due to the nature of transmitted diseases, we will not be responsible, under any circumstances, for any veterinary bills that may occur after the bunny leaves our care. If any bunny dies in the first week, refunds can be made or you can get a new bunny of equal value to replace that one for free. The cause of death needs to be known and documented by a vet with a copy of the vet report sent to us. For example, if the dog/cat killed the bunny or any other reasons that were out of our control, you will not get a refund or another bunny.

8) If you find you can no longer keep a bunny you’ve adopted from us, please let us know. We will take back our bunnies, depending on any medical conditions or illnesses the bunny might have. Refunds will not be made. We would prefer you send the bunny back as opposed to sending it to an unknown shelter. We will not be able to take back bunnies that we feel might pose a health risk to our other bunnies.

9) Our bunnies will not be adopted to people that use them in harmful experiments or as food. Our bunnies are not used for meat stock, they are intended to be family members/pets.
