We had a blast yesterday at Tampa Bay Bunfest!!!!! Thanks to everyone who stopped by the bunny grooming station, and of course to Suncoast House Rabbit Rescue for putting on an amazing event. We can't wait to go back next time 🥰 so many sweet and cute bunnies!!

Rosie is a young female guinea pig, with a big appetite and an even louder voice when it comes to treats. She's just come out of quarantine, so she just needs a vet check before she's ready to join her next herd!

Congratulations to Chocolate Chip (now known as Henry) on finding your furever home ❤️ we are so excited for this pairing- and it's going so well. He's absolutely spoiled and having the time of his life throwing cups around and getting loves from his new mom!

Sprinkle is getting some extra snuggles for International Rabbit Day! He's such an even tempered bunny. He's still looking for his forever home ❤️ could that be with you?
Welcoming this little darling to our care! This little lady was found as a stray. She'll be seeing our exotics vet, and after our stray hold will be available for adoption! Ferrets need friends, so if you have or know someone who has female ferrets, let them know this little one needs a home!!
Does your teen need community service or volunteer hours? As a federally registered nonprofit, we offer those - through our Foster for Hours program!
The way it works is:
- You and your teen foster a rescue animal(s) for us and keep a log of the care your teen provides to the animal(s).
- We sign off on the number of hours spent caring for the animal(s)
- Your teen can turn in that signed logbook or letter of recommendation to fulfill their service hours (Before applying please contact the organization or school to ensure that these hours will be applicable, as not all programs will accept service hours gained this way.)
If you're interested, head on over to www.pawphanage.org/foster and make sure to put "FOSTER FOR HOURS" in the subject line - and make sure you tell us what kind of animal you're interested in fostering. We provide all supplies and food except for daily veggies/treats.
Fostering is a great way to help us help more animals.
*Please note the adult/parent/guardian is still responsible for making sure the animal is properly cared for, and transport to/from any necessary vet visits.

Sprinkle is a 1yo, ~5lb, neutered and vaccinated male. He is a red eye white (REW), and absolutely exudes the sweet and easy going temper that REWs are known for. He is a perfect addition to any family - especially if said family loves giving out the treatos 😉

Through no fault of his own, Marshmallow needs a new home! The current owner says he is sweet, likes to be pet, and is good with nail trims. He is good with children. He has been around cats and is not scared of them (although we don't recommend letting your cats have unsupervised access to your piggies)
He's about 1 year old, so he's got a full life ahead of him!!
Marshmallow is currently in the Orlando area.
Prince Philip loves playing board games with kids! He's such a good bunny, and just loves everyone. If you've got a bunny of your own, show us them doing something cute (which, as we all know, is everything!)
We're really in need of some supplies for all of our darlings, including blankets, hay (as per usual), and some treats and enrichment toys! If you're able to spare anything, we'd greatly appreciate it!

Holiday reminder!
Make sure you have a plan in place now to keep your animals as calm and comfortable during fireworks on New Years Eve this year. If you need help developing a plan for your pet(s), call your regular vet *now* to figure out what's best for your animal. For my dogs, trazodone from their vet and extra snuggles has proven the most effective. For my rabbits, guinea pigs, and hamsters, it's providing extra shelter and (safe) bedding that helps dampen the noise.
If your pet is microchipped, make sure it's still current and up to date. If your dog/cat has a collar, make sure it has the tag on it. Let's keep our animals as happy, safe, and comfortable as they can be ❤️

Dear Friends and Followers;
Our Friend Jennifer from Binky On in Hahira, GA is in desperate need to find furever homes for her adoptable rabbits.
She is literally by herself taking care of 50 rabbits. 😞Recently she broke her left arm and she does need a surgery on her left shoulder. However she is postponing the surgery because she can’t leave the bunnies alone. She has asked for volunteers but only a few of them showed up a few times. She is not asking for money, even though it would be a great help due to her situation. All she is asking for and dreaming about is to have her spayed&neutered rabbits adopted. If I list everything that Jennifer has endured in this last year I could easily write a sad book. 😞💔 She has devoted her life to the rabbits cause. Now she needs help.
Even if you live in another state we can arrange transportation with The Bunderground at no extra cost.

Look at how much this sweet boy loves hay! I can't wait for him to be all healed up to head to a forever home. He's absolutely the sweetest and easiest guinea pig I've come across. He just wants love and to snuggle, and he doesn't really care who with.

Here we see a very love-motivated guinea pig. He loves being pet, and makes the chittering noise when you stop before he's ready for you to. I've never had the pleasure of having a guinea pig who just wanted to be loved and cuddled as much as our little wounded rescue. He is absolutely a love bug, I can't wait to find him the perfect home! He's still going to be with us for a bit while he finishes healing. I managed to catch Strawberry waking up for the evening 😍 this little lady has settled in so nicely and is running on her wheel like mad!
