I was commenting earlier today that Selene was not being cuddly - so she had to prove me wrong.
Celeste. A week ago we were resigning ourselves to the fact that we may need to put this kitty back outside as she wasn’t socializing but here she is one week later! #kittenrescue #adoptdontshop

Wink needs a special adopter!
This 1.5 year old girl has been diagnosed with feline leukemia (FeLV). What the long term impact on her will be is an unknown. It could have none or it could shorten her life to about 10 years.
But without someone stepping up to give her a home, she will be out to sleep. Because FeLV+ kitties should be only cats or with other FeLV+ cats, finding adopters is nearly impossible.
Wink is loving and gentle. She doesn’t let her one blind eye slow her down. She seems so happy with life that we don’t want to take it away from her at such a young age. Please share and help us find her a home.

Jedi
Jedi passed last night, taking his final breaths in our arms. RIP little angel, we are so sorry we failed you. 🌈
Havelock Kittens
It’s been a day! We got home from Maine around midnight. By 1pm we got Sophie back to foster. Around 5pm we agreed to take another kitten that was a couple hours from being euthanized by the shelter, at 7:30p I trapped an injured feral that needs surgery and just now (around 9pm) we took in 4 bottle babies.
Sophie nap
Back home and we have Sophie back for a little more fostering. Turn it up for some kitten purrs.
Meet Sophie! She is our short term foster. Just a few days with us before going back to her original foster to finish gaining weight to be ready for adoption.
Kylie
(Part 1 of 2) It's been a rough 48 hour stretch. We have lost two kitties within our foster circle over the past two days. Neither kitty was at the MAINEiac Cat Resort, but we were helping support our foster friends with both cats. Both cases spotlight how important TNR is to ending the suffering. First up is Kylie. She was born outside and never given a chance. She was picked up and brought to the county shelter where should would have been immediately euthanized, except that a local rescue we work with whisked her away. Alas, it was too late for Kylie. A short video I have here of her struggling to breathe. She succumbed at the vet in the loving arms of her foster. We are so sorry we couldn't save you little girl.
Catalina and Amora
Catalina and Amora are both doing wonderfully in their home. It’s been two years since we first took them into our home. Their family has sent several videos of them loving on their people. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
