Yes, its Monday Morning. But we need to talk to every single person reading this. We need help. We know this problem is across the board, but we just had to tell an owner to take their dog to the shelter because we had no room, the same shelter we are trying to stop these animals from dying in! What sense does that make? We need EVERYONE’s help.

1) We need foster homes in the Central Florida Area. Our current volunteers are overflowed and its not fair to them. We desperately need dog fosters. Please message us to find out more.

2) We need monetary donations. Vetting costs money. Food costs money. Every animal that isn’t adopted is being taken care of and it costs money. We need $5 from every person who can give up a special coffee or make their lunch today. 8 people giving up $5, pays for a 40lb bag of dog food. 13 people giving up $5, pays for a dogs vaccinations. $5 can make a difference.

3) We need adopters. These dogs are not your perfect puppy store dogs. They are not 100% of any breed. They were born to love. Some are even coming with professional training, with an adoption fee of $200. Please, give the underdogs a chance. Just because they are not perfect does not mean they can not love you to the best of their ability. After all, humans are jot that perfect either.

URGENT - WE NEED HELP

We need help. We are majorly in the red, trying to help dogs and we are at a loss for what to do.

1) We still owe Central Florida K9 the rest of Bubba’s downpayment. We should have had this paid by now. We need help.

2) We have had 3 wonderful dogs in boarding for 3 weeks. Together their bill
Is over $1,000. They are safe but we need foster homes to get them out, and we need help paying this bill.

3) We need adopters/fosters. We already have had to close intake. But we are trying to not help animals esp those at risk but we are about to have to stop letting any animals in at all. We don’t want to do this.

Slim Jim, we were so excited to meet you. So excited to help you on the journey that would lead you to the life you always deserved. Even at a wonderful age of 8, no one taught you love, or that you didnt have to fend for yourself and most of all, that you could trust. Your trust in mankind had been broken many times. And it was again today. You had a rescue to take care of you, another rescue to help you get training and teach you, a foster ready to love you in ways you couldn’t imagine, and people cheering you on. But today a volunteer took you outside and you found a toy. Maybe no one told him you were not trusting and would guard things. Maybe he didnt know how to deal with it. But today he went towards your face while you had the toy, for your leash. But you didnt know, so you protected your toy. Your teeth, his flesh. Your teeth won. He is fine. Stitches. You are not. They put you on a metal table and ended the life we had such great hopes for. They took you away today and we are at such a loss. They considered it humane euthansia. We consider it ignorant murder. But no matter the term, you were taken from us wrongly. But we wont forget you Slim. We promise. ❤️🥺❤️

STOP BREEDING! Too many animals are dying. Too many are sitting in rescues. Just stop. Save lives. Dont condemn them by forcing them to breed. So many pure bred dogs are at the shelters! And mix breeds are not that bad either (we love mixed breeds). Just look!

Dulce is looking for a place to call home. But Dulce likes quiet. She does well with calmer dogs. She is fine with cats that are chill and respect her space. She is not good with children. She does stress out and will chew her feet from the stress. Aside from needing a calm home environment, Dulce is pretty much perfect. She is a pocket pit, and very much a low rider. As they say, good things come in small packages! And she is no exception!

Daffy is the sweetest girl you will ever meet. She is great with other dogs but selective with cats. And loves every human (including the little ones) she meets. She could benefit from some basic obedience as unfortunately no one has taught her before. But she is super smart and will learn quickly! This poor girl is just over a year old, and was a stray, was super emaciated, ended up at a local shelter and then was adopted, for her owners to give her up. Jetty is an amazing boy who is learning and growing so much in training! He is showing how much potential he has to truly be a wonderful dog! Jetty was on the euthanasia list at PRC in Tampa. Please don’t forget we need your help, yes your help to raise the $2,000 downpayment for Bubba’s training by 8/21. A week from today. Even a $5 donation makes a huge difference. Please help us to help this sweet boy on his journey to a better life. ❤️🐶❤️

Bubba is a sweet boy who is not even a year and a half old. His first owner had him and when he started showing unwanted behaviors, he dumped him at a local shelter. Bubba found himself on the euthanasia list at the shelter due to being in a dog fight, which mostly is due to his lack of being socialized when he was younger. He was adopted by a family to save his life and he settled in very well. But after a few weeks, he started showing issues with the kids, and became very territorial of their home when people would come over.
Because of their kids and social home life, they decided their home was not right for Bubba. And instead of returning him to the shelter, they reached out to our rescue. Now, he is with us.
We did have a trainer evaluate him. We think many of his issues are stemming from lack of socialization as well as needed behavior modification. It make take him a little time and training but we all think Bubba has the potential to be an awesome pet.
This fundraiser is to help cover the costs of his training. It will be updated as time goes on. Right now we are starting with the $2,000 down payment. Once he has a thorough evaluation at the facility upon arrival we will be given an estimate of price. And as his training goes on some prices may be adjusted but we will update this regularly.

Luna needs a loving home! She is 2.5 years old and is the definition of a velcro dog. She wants to be with her human at all times. She, however, does not have sepapration anxiety as many velcro dogs do. She just wants to soak up every second of love you will allow her to. She is good with all animals and kids. And is house and crate trained. She just needs a family to call hers.

WELCOME H***H! This beautiful boy is officially in our rescue and awaiting his forever home!

H***h is a great dog. He is a big, lovable goof who loves to play tug-of-war and keep away and who has gone to obedience school recently for two months, and is a very well behaved dog. His training continues currently. He is housebroken and you can leave him unattended all day, and he will not destroy your belongings. He used to not get along with other dogs or people, but after his training, he can be around birds, cats, dogs, and people, and there’s no issue. He does require a firm, gentle hand. But other than that, it’s nothing but joy and love.

UPDATE ON JETTY!!!

He is getting close to being done with his training! This beautiful boy is showing them how it is done! We are beyond words! Check out these pics!! There are vids on Disciple Dogs site! Check them out (we couldnt steal them to add to this post). But take a look at these pictures of a dog deemed aggressive and put on a euthanasia list for it! Training goes a long way! And Jetty just needed some help!
