We made a trip to NC to drop off more supplies to the Hurricane Helene victims. We dropped off in Bat Cave NC, I was in shock at the amount of destruction that was still there after 4 months have passed. Please don't forget about WNC they are all still in great need! Thanks to Ormond Strong for teaming up with us to make this happen! Also big thanks for making the drop off a great experience, it was so great meeting all of you today Bat Cave Disaster Relief

Today is deep cleaning day at the kennel! 🧼🧹 We’ve taken all the kennels apart to make sure every corner is spotless—from the floor to the nooks and crannies. Our pups deserve the cleanest, safest environment to grow and thrive, and we’re committed to making sure they have it.

It’s a lot of hard work, but seeing the kennel sparkle and knowing our puppies are safe and comfortable makes it all worth it! 🌟

🐾 Puppy Raisers: Help socialize and lay the foundation for our future service dogs. No experience? No problem! We provide guidance and support every step of the way.

🐶 Whelping Volunteer: We need someone with experience caring for mama dogs and newborn puppies. This is a crucial role in ensuring our future service dogs get the best start in life!

Pop Smoke K9 for Veterans Inc. and Ormond Strong are making one last trip to Bat Cave, NC, to deliver much-needed supplies! 🛠️🔥

They are in need of tools, propane heaters, and building supplies to help with ongoing recovery efforts. Let’s rally together and make this final trip count!

Smoke, our black Lab, worked on his stay training today, along with practicing having his veteran step over him. This is a crucial skill for public outings, as service dogs often need to sit under tables or their handler’s legs. It also prepares them for situations where people might not notice a dog beneath their feet.

Meanwhile, Tonic, our Golden Retriever, went on an outing with some of the most amazing volunteers ever! Tonic is making incredible progress, and we couldn’t be prouder of both of these pups!

Remember Chief… he didn’t quite make it in our program but he was the sweetest dog! Look at him now l, found him an amazing home with a veteran who fishes five days a week! Look at this boy living his best life!
