Samson is staying with us. The big black girl, Juliette who is our girl. Is having a little conversation with Samson. Juliette is the Gardenian of the flock. She continously secures the perimeter. No Birds No foul.

What a Sweet Good girl. The weather has been grand. Her parents have mad her into a secure and confident dogs. All Confident dogs handle be away from there Moms and Dads so well.

Good morning. 73 degrees 100 percent humidity. Our dogs this morning were out side by 4:30 am. It is imperative they get exercise and stimulus. To start there day. Ask your dog boarding facilities. How they care for the dogs in there care. Especially when there is extreme weather conditions. Such as unhealthy temperatures of extreme heat as well as low freezing temperatures.
Be and advocate for your beloved animals.

5 AM. And we are up! With the extreme heat this week, 5 am is as Cool as it Get's.
When checking out boarding facilities. Saftey measures should be the first consideration.
Dog's just like people can get very ill, from extreme heat. Many Breeds with short nose's, have very difficult breathing problems.
Proper shade, water supply and the amount of time outside need to be monitored. Dog's DO Get Heat Stroke.

As I see many people in my area on FB. Telling stories of their beloved dog getting lost. That so saddens me for the poor dog.
Everyone of my single dogs have been microchip, all have had there rabbies shot done. When your dog receives a Rabies vaccine. The owner receives a Rabies tag.
It is our job as the owner to keep our beloved pets as safe. Accidents do happen. I try with my family dogs, to be as proactive for there safety.
So many of my clients think having your dog Microchip and a Rabbies tag. Will help if their dog were to get lost. Both options are great in the perfect circumstances.
But what if : it is not the perfect time? 9 pm or a Holiday for the county,state or government.
Hmmm 9 PM vet offices are closed to scan for a Microchip as well as SPCA offices. If they dog has a Rabies tag on. It does not have the owners name, nor phone number. If it is a Holiday that is observed. All offices that are involved in Rabies tags are closed.
For myself. I show my dogs. They travel with me . We have taken trips as far to Missouri. One of my big concerns traveling with my beloved dogs are. A Car accident. What if the dog were to be thrown from the vehicle. Many of my clients worry so much of there dogs collar get stuck on a object. Which could cause the dog to strangle. For myseIf I am in the vehicle with my dog. I am aware of what the dog is doing wether in a crate or loose in my vehicle.
I strongly recommend to purchase a Dog collar with Name , phone number of owner. This collar has a reflective strip. Which in the middle of darkness may save your dog also.
I have never lost any of my dogs. And I pray it never happens.
Be proactive, your dog looks up to you for it's saftey.
