I am very happy to announce our 2024 litter. Born May, 16th, 5 males and 5 females. This litter combines European show/workinglines. We expect balanced drives and stable temperaments in this. Pups will be suitable for working/active/sport homes.

Today Helen successfully completed the WAE. Helen did awesome, I failed her as a handler. I have never considered the WAE or CGC to be evaluations that you should train for. I took that approach a stretch too far and did not fully review what I needed to do in order to guide her through the process. From the starting position I realized that Helen was completely confused and frustrated. She traveled in her crate and I initially put on her 2 inch agitation collar. Then I had to remove it and gear her up with the equipment that was provided. Throughout the entire evaluation, Helen kept anticipating IGP commands and IMO was out of control. Luckily, she is not an over the top dog and her out of control doesn't look like a monster. Overall, the evaluators' scoring and critique was spot on. I will take this opportunity to improve my knowledge base as a handler and never forget the importance of setting up my dog for success.

Puppies! 😍 This litter is the result of a project I have been working on for a decade. It is a cross between European and South American bloodlines. My main goal with this litter is to bring diversity to my gene pool and lower the COI. This litter has an Embark COI of 27% and carries no dilute genes. 🙌🏿

Yesterday I completed my 1st Helper Classification seminar. I wish I did this many years ago. It tied together the underlying concepts and the progression of protection routines. It helped me to better understand the relationships between the helper, handler and the dog. Wow! I am looking forward to taking more of these seminars. 👀
