Can you help us?
Louies family brought him into a GA High kill shelter and walked right out. He is so scared and shut down.

We are hoping to get him here with our friends at Pilots and Paws and we just need your help to cover his neuter. We have to raise $200 and can get Louie right into a loving, experienced foster home in NY.

Come on, let’s save him!!

March 13th 2025 This couple Sara Obstarcyzk and Kris Fuhr cancelled my appointment to pickup, vet and adopt our 9 dogs. Sara and Kris then left town and hid our dogs from us.

July 25, 2025 Our Judge ordered they are NOT their owners. He ruled we are their owners. He ordered Kris and Sara to give us the address and location of our dogs. They refused.

August 25, 2025 Sara and Kris take 6 of our dogs to Dr. Lankenau in Colden NY. 3 are missing, none are altered including Lily per vet. None were given rabies and distemper shots prior to that visit per Dr Lankenau. We got vet notes showing that at 6 months they had bloody diarrhea. Verbally this vet told me they had an overload of parasites at 6 months old (way too old for that).

Every single day we have been traumatized, scared for the safety, health and lives of our dogs. We are scared they could be used for breeding, fighting or abused. We have caught Kris trying to give our dogs away on the streets of Elma NY with “adopt me vests”, fraudulently, they are not a rescue.

They were ordered by our Supreme Court Judge that they cannot sell, give away or adopt out our dogs. After this order they say they did and we should be “thrilled”. Even that’s a lie. We have good reason to believe they still have Lily and some of the others.

I’m heartbroken that I give my heart, soul, energy, money, time into building up a community based rescue to save the lives of innocent dogs and anyone could think it’s ok to steal living and breathing animals plus all of their supplies from a 501c3 Charity. Our Donors work too hard for this. Tens of thousands of dollars to find Justice and they just ignore court orders, one after another ignored.

Where are our dogs? Today you must share in community groups, discuss the state of criminal activity in NYS and how anyone is entitled enough to take what they know just doesn’t belong to them.

We are waiting on a new ruling on Civil and Criminal Contempt charges for Sara and Kris as well as Perjury. Any day we could get a ruling and we hope that the punishment fits.

We just want our dogs back and to be made whole again. I recently stopped one of my Cancer meds and the nightmares about my dogs in trouble are persistent. We need an end to this nightmare. It’s been almost 10 months!!

We have asked for all of the names of anyone involved.

Share and Donate. It’s the only way we are going to survive this trauma that Kris and Sara have caused.

Rescue is based on an honor system. You think that everyone around you has ethics who claim to love animals. Unfortunately we have learned the hard way that’s just not always true. So what would make someone think it’s ok to steal dogs that belong to a rescue or shelter? It can’t just be a lack of morals.

Seems like they may think they will get away with it. Too often, they do get away with it. We must make the change we want to see.

I had no idea that when you pursue your legal rights, the aggressors can be so vicious, setting up entire fb pages dedicated to slandering you. Some of them coke heads who have lost custody of their own children are hiding behind a page anonymously, some of them losers who have not accomplished, are dead set on destroying your accomplishments. It’s quite pathetic and sad that anyone would hurt a rescue dog and find support in attacking the rescue they stole from.

If anyone knows who stole, where they dogs are, have helped in stealing or hiding dogs, do the right thing and turn yourself in. Give the dog or dogs back you know don’t belong to you. Selling stolen property is criminal. We pray for this puppy and all of the stolen dogs used and abused by their predators.

Big Dog Ranch Rescue is searching for a 5-week-old puppy named Lucy that it said was stolen from its facility on Sunday.

Gravy is GORGEOUS and even more so in person. He’s a silly, obedient LOVE!

He is 2 yrs, 60lbs, learning that jumping in the car leads to adventures. He is crate and house trained. He is fully vetted. He is friendly with all dogs big and small, even dogs that don’t like him (he just doesn’t understand why anyone wouldn’t adore him).

I’m in love with this dog. Are you?

No one has stepped up to foster us. Do we stay back at the kill shelter? Do we go to live in a kennel?
If you can foster, even for a month, please spare a little space in your home and heart for us.

We would like to Update you on Blaze. Blaze was adopted as a young puppy. At close to a year their family vet recommended euthanizing him for behavioral issues. We didn’t agree. He was adopted and after months in the home with the dads, he bit one. We were devastated but his family realized even though they couldn’t keep him, they really loved him. They offered to pay for training. They wanted to make sure we wouldn’t euthanize him. He went back into daycare for a while and saw a behaviorist.

He was put on medication to help him relax and has been living with a new family for 2 years now that he loves and that loves him dearly. We approached them about a year ago and offered to cover Blazes food and medications, vet care and pretty much whatever he needs as a forever foster.

I couldn’t be prouder knowing that we gave Blaze another chance at life. He came from such poor circumstance in Alabama and that fear can be very real in scarring a dog for life.

Blaze plays with his doggie friends and has learned to trust his human friends. We are so appreciative.

Blazes food costs $70.03 per month and his medication $74.51 per 90 days. He got his annual physical with shots earlier this year and did great at our Vet with his foster dad.

I believe in Prayer and I am personally asking you to Pray today.

This case has not gotten enough attention but it has gotten attention across this country. Pray for our 9 stolen dogs.

Not a day goes by without feeling the trauma Sara Obstarcyzk and Kris Fuhr have caused.

They signed an agreement to Foster our dogs knowing it was temporary and they didn’t have ownership then blocked our dogs adoptions, left town and have hidden our dogs from us for 10 months. I’ve seen improper vetting, reports that they are sick and we have spent tens of thousands of dollars on this.

I feel like my Cancer is spreading no matter how hard I fight because the STRESS they have caused is like no other trauma I have been thru.

They took our dogs against our will and without our permission. They first told our Judge our contract is invalid. When he told them it absolutely is valid, they didn’t care. Now they argue it is impossible to fulfill their end of the agreement Sara printed, signed and emailed back 1/2025. How come hundreds and thousands of people can respect their foster agreements but Sara and Kris can’t manage to do it? How come they flip flop their excuses while they DO WHAT THEY WANT even if it means hurting our dogs?

Pray for the safety of our dogs. Sara and Kris refused to give us, their owners, a proof of life picture yet tell the judge they are happy dogs and he should believe them.

This is the insanity we have had to deal with for almost a year.

Pray for the return of all 9 dogs.

I need to assess their physical and behavioral needs and place them in loving homes with honest people not anyone that would or could ever be a part of this.

🚫 It’s “Return Your Pets” Season… and We Need to Talk About It 🚫

Every year around this time, is the season when shelters and rescues get hit with a heartbreaking trend:

✨ People gearing up for a new puppy or kitten
✨ Suddenly “needing” to return the pet they already have
✨ Rescues and shelters drowning in animals who did nothing wrong

Let’s be perfectly clear: this is foul!

Pets are not trade-ins!
They aren’t disposable!
They don’t stop deserving love just because a newer, cuter option shows up!

Every animal returned is a confused, heartbroken soul wondering why their family disappeared.
Rescues and shelters (already stretched to the max)— run on volunteer time, sweat, and limited resources — are left trying to pick up the pieces.

If you’re thinking about adding a pet this holiday season, remember:

Adoption is a commitment... A LIFELONG one!
Not a holiday impulse!
Not a convenience!
Not a swap-out moment!

Our message is simple:
If you adopt a pet, stand by them.
If you promise them forever, mean it.

Let’s stop normalizing “Return Your Pets” Season once and for all!
Our animals deserve better — every single day of the year! ❤️🐾
