MOM! I’m hungry 🥺please please please feed me! 💕
This beauty needs a home! This Copper is one of my favorites!!!! At around 6 inches she/he needs a tank! ❤️❤️❤️
These 7 are at least 3 inches!
The babies know it’s feeding time ❤️❤️❤️
Seriously! She also eats from my hands and let’s me pet her!
Love my Noodle, she always comes to greet me ❤️❤️❤️ I know you should not have favorites… but…. ❤️❤️❤️
The best thing you can feed your axolotl is worms. I feed mine pellets and worms. When your axolotls are small you have to cut the worm! This is not for the squeamish! I won’t do it. Andy or Ronan has to cut the worms 🪱 Quailty also matters! You can’t dig up worms from your backyard, they might have parasites! You will need to buy worms from a bait store or gas station. Mochi and Noodle eat frozen bloodworms as treats, pellets, and worms. The babies get live brine shrimp, large frozen brine shrimp, bloodworms and eventually pellets! Special thank you to our videographer Lexi tonight ❤️
Hi my name is Mochi and I would rather wear my pellets then eat them! You will notice my tank has a very fine sand substrate. New owners will want to start with a bare bottom (also easier for cleaning up poops). Axolotls will try and eat everything, they are carnivores. No rocks, gravel, or sand. Mine are big enough that if they swallow a little sand it should not cause any problems. A good rule of thumb is nothing smaller then the palm of your hand in your tank.
