Mimi, Miley & Makenzie can't wait for Santa's arrival and neither can the Pet's Home! They know they'll be on the nice list with those perfect smiles! We are just about finished decorating and setting up for our Open House and pictures with Santa this Sunday the 15th! Even with the smell of fresh baked cookies in the air, the work here is never done. Excited to see all your smiling faces! 🌌🎄🤶🏻🦌

We find our darling Clementine so a-peeling that we named her Dog of the Week! Clementine, a Scorpio ♏, just recently turned 2 and had such a fun time celebrating her birthday with some pictures, games and treats at The Pet's Home. She is a Border Collie Mix who is always a sweety and absolutely mastered the art of the puppy eyes. Super cuddly and affectionate with both people and pups, she is very popular in the yard and enjoys being the center of attention! Whether chasing after toys or playing tag, she's always ready for some fun. If you catch her running around you'll see that her jumps are the most majestic!

Happy "Celebrate Shelter Pets Day"! This day is to bring awareness to pets such as dogs and cats that are in shelters. Many of us may be considering adopting a pet from a shelter. It can feel like a lot to take on, so let's share our stories on how we found our adopted shelter dogs! Cassy, a pet professional at The Pet's Home, has three adopted dogs of her own, including Dani and Odin, who are pictured below.

Animal Enrichment Day was a blast! All pups went home exhausted from a day full of fun. From having a ball to solving puzzles, these pups sure got lots of engagement!

Puzzles are available for purchase anytime during a day of daycare and stay tuned for the next chosen date for Ball Day, which seems to be a fan favorite from our fur friends!

Stevie is our rescue dog, approximately 7 months old. Despite living in a home with an in-ground pool, Stevie had zero interest in the water and would watch the other dogs swim/play from a distance. However, when Malik would come to swim, Stevie took a keen interest in how much fun Malik appeared to be having. Finally, he couldn't take it anymore, and to everyone's surprise dove into the pool to play with Malik. Just the once, but it's a start!

We have had plenty of dogs enjoy their swim session, but none as much as Malik. We try to tell him to rest a moment - but he jumps right back in the water. No one wants to be the one to tell him the pool closes next week for the season 😞
