I've had countless hours training , learning and interacting with many breeds. I have numerous AKC Titles with both my "mix breed " dog and also my Cane corso who is now almost 10 years old. I have been certified as a K9 Handler with NYSP had a dual purpose K9 for 5 years who is trained in Narcotics along with Patrol as well. Along with being certified in Narcotics and Patrol we also trained in ha

ndler protection, obedience , building searches , tracking and article searches. During my 5 years as a handler , I attended several clinics , classes and educational seminars from some of the top trainers in the United States. My goal is to help owners gain knowledge and have their pups get the training the need to be the best balanced dog possible.

Yesterday was a busy day.
I started off with Sam ( Samantha ) who is a super friendly 2 yr old GSD.
She has an awesome disposition.
Mom wants to work on all around Obedience to help her succeed.

Ok , I will be honest. This is going to be hard when this guy has to go home. He is such a good dog.

I was able to spend some time with Maui on a hike yesterday. This guy is a looker and pretty smart as well.

Playtime with Maui (Day #7)
There are huge benefits to creating a fun and enjoyable playtime with your dog.
It creates amazing relationships and provides them with appropriate ways to release stress & energy.
Rather than throwing toys on the floor and expecting your dog to know what to do, take charge and make that s**t fun!!!

DISCLAIMER!!!
This is a shortened glimpse of Maui's 2nd place session.
The first was an introduction earlier in the morning where I set the cot down and as soon as he touched it, I marked and rewarded.
That lasted about 8 mins.
This session lasted about 10-12 mins.
No leash pressure was required.
Just patience.

I started at the house and repeated numerous times. This was his first time out on this type of walk with me. This is also about 20 minutes into the walk.

Who says (2) 2 yr old male dogs can't play together?? Yes , they are being supervised while playing and every play session is timed!!!
