We're headed into fall, and soon the holidays will be upon us!

Let Houses & Hounds care for your furry friends while you are away! With over 30 years of experience with animals ranging from fish and hamsters to livestock (and everything in between) and many references, you can rest assured they are in great hands.

Services available: Drop-in visits (in your home), overnight pet boarding (in my home), dog walking, daycare (in my home), and other specialized services (contact me for more information).

What sets Houses & Hounds apart from our competition?

1. Bookings are limited to two pets per day (three if from the same family), optimizing care for your fur baby.

2. We are cage-free (unless you prefer and provide a kennel);

3. Pets are rarely left unattended (I am home all day) unless I am running an errand.

4. I have access to my family's 25-acre family farm to play/explore; the rail trail is just feet from my front door, allowing me access to several larger green spaces to play and explore (Forest Park/Bark Park, Kanza Park, City Park, etc.)

5. Houses & Hounds cares for more than just doggies - kitties and other critters (except reptiles) are welcome too!

6. Discounts for multiple pets for the same booking period. Discounts are also available for stays longer than 7 days with one or multiple pets.

Who's a happy doggie? This one. Just look at that face!! Remember this sweet girl, Daisy, from several weeks ago? Well, she and I are buddies again for the next 3 days, as I drop in at her house and take her for walks twice a day.

Houses & Hounds provides drop-in services to feed/water your pet(s), walk them, and then ensure they are securely back where they belong. Each visit also includes a status update for the owner and a few photo snaps of their pet(s).

Other services offered include overnight pet boarding (in my home), day sitting (in my home), and dog walking (from your home/business).

What a cutie! Meet Chloe, a darling little rat terrier. She's so calm and chill - only wanting to snuggle on her blanket next to me for a long nap. Can you believe this little girl is 16 years old? She carries herself like a 5 year old - running around on our walks, jumping up and down off the chair... She's amazing and she's my little buddy for a few days!
