Flicka is a Registered APHA mare that has been with me for 30 days now. She came to me HARD to catch, shy of people and just scared in general. We’ve accomplished a lot in the last 30 days, each day we become easier to catch. Lunging was a huge problem as she’d pull away from being nervous. She’s taking to cues much stronger now. Here soon we’ll be thinking about putting our first ride on🤞
“THE LUCKY MARTINI” also know as Ellie is in full time training. This mare is a 6 year old Western Pleasure mare, she was started as a young filly and then turned out to pasture. She is one pretty mover. Stay tuned for her bright future.
This was her second ride in 3-4 years, we are refreshing and learning new things each session. Be on the look out as we will be attending the Bar k blast show put on by Wild Wind Horse Shows.

This lady, a 4 year old Palomino filly. She has been in training for 45 days. She is now up for discussion as she’s a little more horse then the owners are wanting. She has a lot of buttons and is not for a beginner or someone inexperienced as she’s going to need more training. She will walk and trot, hasn’t loped under saddle. She will lung and not pull your arm off, picks up feet, stands tied. She has a lot of speed and is very muscular and toned out. She’s being worked with 5 days out of the week. She does have speed, would excel in barrels or roping events, she is grade! I have more videos on upon request. Located in Topeka ks, 3five 00
We are looking at hiring someone to clean stalls for us on a daily basis. We only need them done once a day and can be done morning or afternoon. This is a paid position and we prefer someone with horse experience already as we have stallions, mares and foals and client horses. We need someone that is reliable and dependable. Riding time can be talked about after a period of time. This would be a great start for a highschool or young adult looking for ways to get into horses. Must be able to find transportation for yourself. We are located west of Topeka right off of I-70.
Message us if interested.
After some great thoughts and ideas we’ve decided on a name for the new foal. In loving memory of Dallas’ grandmother passing minutes before the foal arriving, we decided to name him after her.
We’ve decided to have his Barn Name as “Dezra’s Steel” Dez for short. Following with his Registered Name “Prince Steels legacy”.
Good morning, here’s a quick update on Burt.
Burt has been progressing in his training process at his own individualized pace. Initially experiencing fluctuations between challenging and favorable days, he has recently consistently had positive training days. His responsiveness to cues has improved, and he is transitioning smoothly into a more controlled gait. Overcoming the challenge of adjusting to a slower pace, he is increasingly receptive to the command "easy." Burt is nearing readiness for participation in the WT show pen.

Here is an update on Merry,
Merry has been improving substantially in his day to day training. After getting the halters on and going into the stalls every day they can all get very worked up. Merry is very soft to pressure, assuming taking him into an open area to get his attention and flight response down. He did very good out in the open responded well to the pressure of the lead rope. Our next things to work on, touching and walking towards him. We can slowly touch his nose to his forehead (sometimes that can be to much). Walking towards him, he turns into flight mode and will take off. After running around he will join up to you and you can then grab his lead rope and try over again.
Saga- Saga is by far one of Dallas’ favorite filly’s to have started. She has such a great mind and will to learn. Being able to accomplish everything put in her path from side passing, opening gates, picking up correct leads, neck reining, over coming being nervous when being shod, roping and much more. This filly amazes us all the time! A beginner adult rider was confident and proud of how well she was taken care of while riding her.
We look forward to see what saga brings in the near future.
Bert- Bert has come so far in his training. Which that’s what we want to hear!
From what he was when he got here to what he is now is a astronomical change. Very quiet and soft he is. We are doing great at the walk and trot, moving on into the lope having to take things slow as he tends to drift to the outside and resists to turning. With stepping back down to slow work we’ve been able to get that continuous circle at the lope with little to no resistances.
