🐾 Meet Chandler! 🐾

Chandler is a sweet and precious 19-week-old Hound mix with a big heart—both figuratively and literally! This playful pup is the perfect balance of energetic and snuggly. He loves running around with his toys and then curling up on your lap for a snooze. With his adorable short legs and low-rider stature, he’s sure to steal your heart.

Chandler is dog, cat, and kid-friendly, making him a great fit for a loving family. He’s housetrained, crate trained, and sleeps through the night like a champ.

Chandler does need a special adopter, as he was born with a congenital heart defect (pulmonic stenosis). He’s currently under the care of a veterinary cardiologist and takes daily medication, which he handles like a pro. His condition doesn’t slow him down, and his follow-up appointment in April (covered by the rescue) will include an exam, EKG, and Echo. His future adopter must be committed to continuing his cardiac care, which will likely involve ongoing daily medication.

Meet Chandler!

In search of a very special adoptive family for a sweet and precious puppy named Chandler. Now 4 months old, he is the perfect mix of energetic and fun, but also loves to snuggle on your lap for a snooze. Have lots of toys ready, because this boy loves to run and play! One thing that makes Chandler extra cute is that he is a bit of a low rider, and he has the cutest, shorter legs. He is expected to be a smaller to medium sized adult dog. He is dog and cat friendly, is housetrained, crate trained, and sleeps through the night.

Chandler needs a special adopter because he was born with a congenital heart defect(pulmonic stenosis), which is currently under evaluation with a veterinary cardiologist. Rest assured that it is not slowing him down at all at the moment. He is on daily medication, which he takes like a champ. He will require a follow up appointment at the end of April with the cardiologist including exam, EKG, and Echo (at our expense). Once final recommendations are made, his adopter must commit to continue his cardiac care which will likely be daily medication. Jacks just wanted to pop in and tell you that he isn’t going to let the comment of an ignorant “Karen” on Facebook get him down. He knows how amazing he is! He is extremely well mannered and behaved. He is in fact so good with dogs that he is often used to dog test other dogs. This is partly because of his amazing personality and nature but also because of the training he has received and continues to practice. That is the key to a good dog!
