This weekend was filled with so many mixed emotions. Most happy but some sad too. All of our puppies from Margie’s litter are officially in their new homes. Including Zuma. I am beyond happy and excited for each one of them and their wonderful new families. It is always hard to say goodbye to our puppies but saying goodbye to Zuma was extremely difficult. We are all very attached to him. I definitely shed some tears last night. The house was just too calm without him and I deeply miss him but I’ll get used to it. Zuma is thriving and I know he will continue to do so in his new home. They also live nearby and I will still be involved in his cleft palate medical care. So it isn’t goodbye forever. It’s just a big adjustment letting someone else take over when you have put your heart and soul into something. I completely trust his new family to take incredible care of him. I made this difficult decision with his best interest at heart. He is going to live a very full and loved life ❤️ Thank you to all of my incredible Star-Crossed Westie families. Every single one of you have given my puppies an incredible home and I am so thankful for each of you. Stay tuned for a really exciting announcement tomorrow!
The exhaustion shows in the bags under my eyes. But man, I wouldn’t trade this little life for anything. Raising puppies, raising babies, and living our little farm life…it truly doesn’t get better than this. Our house is chaotic but there is more love and laughter in our home than most ❤️
A tiny gimps into our professional trainer doing personality tests on each puppy. There is so much more to it than what we caught on camera. These tests help us learn more about each puppy, their personality, and natural tendencies. It helps us place each puppy with the family that best fits them.
