The next doe up is GCH Sublime VN Prickly Pear 11*M VEEE 91! She is bred to CH Ober-Boerd T Vance.
Prickly has been a stand out since she freshened! As a yearling milker, she was 2nd place yearling milker and ended the season with a reserve champion win. When she freshened as a two year old, she looked stunning. She easily finished at her first show of the season. She made the trek to Nationals and was 1st/1st udder in the largest class of the day for our breed!
Vance is the 2024 Premier Sire and has many beautiful daughters! Four of his junior daughters were Best in Show and three were in the championship lineup.

This is a repeat breeding because I loved her doe kids so much last year but sold them and I want one for myself!

Prickly is due on Friday!!! She looks incredible and I can’t wait to show her off this year.

Kicked off kidding season this morning with triplets from Milkweed! 2B1D. One buck is available
Milkweed has been a fantastic brood doe for me. She has produced two national show class winners and she landed on the ADGA Top 10 list in all three categories (she was also high 305 milk at nationals this year).

This cat (Pickle) needed my lap during chores tonight. I didn’t mind seeing him and his brother (Dill) keep our barn mouse free.

First doe due is GCH Vanjust VK Milkweed 10*M VEEE 91. She is bred to Vanjust SNL Rafiki. Milkweed is the dam of TWO class winners at nationals out of two different bucks (2 yr old class out of 42 I believe with GCH Sublime VN Prickly Pear 11*M, and senior kid class with Sublime OBV Sherry Blossom)! Additionally, she is #3 in Milk, #7 in butterfat, and #1 in protein on the ADGA Top 10 for 2023. She just finished her current lactation and ended with 3,205 lbs. She is due on January 1. So proud of my girls!! The top 10 list for 2023 was released today and not one, not two, not three, but FOUR of them made the list!!!!
I’m forever grateful to Brandi and Vanessa of Vanjust/Luvruc for entrusting me with these beautiful productive does!!!

Made some of the girls fill out job applications this morning:
- Kim has applied for a fashion consultant position
- Milkweed has applied to be a librarian (perfect for her because she doesn’t tolerate noise)
- NeeNee applied to be a taste tester for the feed company.
- kinky has applied for teacher (she has experience teaching the kids each year on the farm)
- prickly has applied for quality control (should of named her picky instead lol)
- pinky has applied to be in the circus for her jumping abilities.

Hopefully they get hired and help pay the bills 🤣😂

🚨 New Champion!! 🚨
2024 ADGA National Premier Sire, Ober-Boerd T Vance has had a fantastic year! He finished him championship today going 2x grand and 1x reserve!

His daughter, Sublime OBV Shoeshi was 1xReserve and 1x Grand and topped it off with Best in Show under judge Mark Baden!! That makes her the fourth Vance daughter to win Best in Show this year!!!

Breeding plans will be released soon 🙂.
