📍 Thank you to each and everyone one you that contacted us with calls, messages, texts, or stopped by after seeing the aftermath of Oxford on new channels, Facebook posts or in person. The outpouring support of family, friends, neighbors, our out-of-state Ryheart Families, and even strangers was heart warming and comforting in seeing how we all come together when disaster strikes.

❤️Boy did we get hit hard, but with grateful hearts all of our mamas and babies are SAFE from the horrific flooding that occurred in the last 24 hours. The devastation that surrounds us is unimaginable, but we are so very thankful our RyHeart pack are all safe!

🙏As yesterday came as a shock to us all, We are regrouping and processing. Our thoughts and prayers go to families who lost loved ones, homes, vehicles or just had to endure the utterly traumatic events of yesterday and all of us who are dealing with the aftermath today and the months to come.

👼 Our RyHeart Retrievers Sign & iron post was proudly used to saved the life of an Oxford Fightfighter who put himself in the line of duty for others!

💥 Though our town be little, we are fierce 💪🏼 and we will rebuild our roots stronger than ever ! ❤️🐾

A whole pack of labs ❤️🐾

The Connecticut State Police K-9 Training Unit is proud to announce the graduation of the 247th K-9 Training Troop, specializing in explosive detection. Seven (7) K-9 Teams specially trained to detect and alert their handlers to the presence of explosives will begin assisting law enforcement in keeping our communities safe. The graduation ceremony included active K-9 displays and demonstrations.

The graduating explosive detection K-9 teams are capable of searching for and locating military, commercial, and improvised explosive devices within buildings, passenger and commercial motor vehicles, mass transit vehicles and venues, luggage, parcels, lockers, open areas, and persons.

Law Enforcement Agencies interested in attending the Connecticut State Police K-9 Training Program for explosive detection training & certification may contact the CSP K-9 Training Unit at [email protected] for more information.
