Meeting new clients is certainly part of why we love boarding, but working with repeat clients is the most rewarding part of it all. Each time pups stay with us they get more & more comfortable in our home, & it’s the biggest compliment having their humans choose us to take care of them. We LOVE our repeat huskies 😍 missing them & all their fluff already!

Owning a working dog is a lot of responsibility. Even in the rain & snow, they still need to be worked. Recently Oden has shown us that we’ve slacked off & he needs more than what we’ve been giving, so we are refreshing our strict heel walking & re-establishing expectations & boundaries. Show your dog what’s expected of them & hold them to that standard, every single day. There was another shepherd tethered to my waist but I still had Oden’s full attention & control. Never had to move my arm or use the leash, but rather he kept his shoulder on my leg which is how we teach loose leash walking. This is what your walk should be like - no pulling. So, so, so proud of this guy!

Hondo has struggled to heel when I’m facing him (figuring out the turn), but with lots of work we’ve got it down pat now! We are so proud of his off leash obedience! That’s a huge achievement 🌟
