I am so in LOVE, and blown away by this hatchling. Even the eyes are different. They have a white ring around the pupil. It's crazy. The clutchmate is gorgeous as well, but this baby is just MUAH..

FINALLY...1st lily of the season hatched!!!!!!!! Both babies are beautiful. Hopefully this baby will keep that tangerine coloration.
Not gonna lie, this season has started off crappy. I rarely lose hatchlings, and I've lost 4 this season. I moved where I put my hatchlings, and the humidity was off, and I'm pretty sure that was the cause. I hate it, bc that was human error for 3 of them. The other baby hatched out special, I was going to keep him/her; and try to give them a good life. I think there was more going on inside it's little body that just wasn't right. I'm praying the remainder of the season goes alot smoother and more successful. I get emotionally attached to ALL my Reptiles, even the ones I don't plan on keeping. So any loss hurts.

I am so glad our sweet little ones made it home traveling all the way from the Czech Republic. Thank you Mr.Reptile for my beautiful boy. He's even prettier in person. We needed new blood lines and Im so excited to build a project around him. Red Line Reptiles got 2 stunning babies from him as well, and I'm very impressed by how beautiful, sweet, and chill they all are. Keep an eye out for what's to come folks, it's gonna be good!!!!!

I may be a little isopod obsessed.... Rubber DUCKIES, Lavas, Orange Dalmatians, A. Gestori, Panda Kings (my all Grey project), Regular Panda Kings, Blonde DUCKIES, Dairy Cows, ALL white Dairy Cows, Powder Blues, Wild Type Scabers, AL assorted color Powders, Wild Type Armadillidiam (these I collected, and they are soooo pretty, the yellow spots are amazing), Zebras, Clowns, and Dwarf whites... and there are quite a few more that I can't wait to start colonies with. I LOVE keeping isopods. My Blonde DUCKIES officially are breeding and I have at least 1-2 broods already, and the other new species are all getting busy with 5-6 larger broods in their enclosures. If you need a clean up crew, or you just want some cool pets that don't require constant work, are fun to watch, and rewarding to keep; isopods may be for you.

Have you ever had a dream, something you want sooo badly that it keeps you up at night??? For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to open a facility for animals/Reptiles. I want a place where people can have hands on experience with Reptiles, Amphibians, inverts, exotics, ect. I want a place to educate people on these amazing creatures, and what they can do to keep these creatures around for a long time. A place within this place that takes in hurt, injured wildlife with certified wildlife rehabbers. Where hurt, unwanted, or abandoned Reptiles can get the love and attention they need to heal and find the forever homes they deserve. I want to bring in at risk youth to help with the animals, and give them somewhere to go and something to do besides get themselves in trouble. I want someone who is afraid of snakes to be able to come in and hold one, face their fear, and see that the fear was worse than reality. Education for conservation. Helping people get to know the reptiles/Amphibians/inverts/bugs ect that they share their area and state with, because you can't help something you didn't know existed or needed your help. One of my biggest fears is that all this will ever be is a dream. (Id also want to keep breeding and offering beautiful healthy animals to people). Idk how to get there, where to begin, but I know I want it so badly I can see it. I can see the entire facility, where everything will go, the lives (animal and people) that can be changed.. Is it a dream when you see it when your awake and when you sleep? I'll never not want this, or stop fighting to get there. One step at a time, one animal at a time, one dollar at a time. This much love and passion has to be something I can share, and it must be so I can help and do some kind of good. It has to be. Pic of one of my beauties for tax.

Im loving this seasons babies so much.. I can't wait to see what these cuties are gonna look like as they grow. Fingers crossed my dark babies keep those gorgeous dark colors and thick tiger striping.

Im a bit surprised here.... I paired my dark charcoal dal to a FUNKY orange tiger dal. He ran from her the entire time, or so I thought. So we paired her to another boy this last month from Red Line Reptiles. Apparently the only thing Pumpkin Spice (the first male) was running from was fatherhood. Look at these babies. I'm excited to see how they look as they grow. I may get 1 more clutch of these before we start getting babies from Dash (the 2nd male). Hopefully Dash won't want a paternity test, thank GOD there isnt a Jerry Springer for Geckos....lol

I am a little surprised at how red this little one is... this baby is less than a week old and is soooo red. The camera isn't doing any justice. I'm digging the two tone head. Anybody wanna guess what color the other baby will be???? I still have to figure out a theme for this year's hatchlings...

*Info update. This is step one in a little project I'm trying. I've paired a bright yellow girl, with a crazy bright red boy with yellow port holes, in hopes of producing some bright/hypo looking reds, and also to try and produce some orange/tangerine kiddos. The best example will then be bred to one of my lilies in hopes of the gecko retaining more of the tangerine coloration. These are the first 2 to hatch, and I am hopeful this little experiment proves out.

It's crested gecko BABY season. What I want to show you today is....the eggs. Once laid the eggs aren't very big, but they grow and stretch with the growing embryo. In order to do this, they need the appropriate moisture levels. So breeders use different hatching mediums in order to allow for moisture but not so much moisture that it blocks the pores in the eggs and essentially drowns the embryo. All eggs have pores that allow for air and moisture. I use perlite to hatch my geckos. I have used vermiculite, but it covers th3 babies once they hatch out. Notice the size difference in the most recent egg laid, and the one laid Feb. 6th. Your eggs should be big, full, and plumb and close to twice the size they were when they were laid; by the time they hatch. Can't wait to see what little cuties are in these eggs.

It AMAZES me the difference between these two. Both Anery corn snakes; one with NO scales one with. You can see the pattern is actually on the skin. The lack of scales causes no health issues, or mobility issues. They may not have scales on the upper region of their body but they do have belly scoots that are key to their movement. These two will produce some beatiful scaleless babies in the future. What I really love is Persephone's "lipstick". She has scales on her mouth which makes it look like she is wearing lip stick. I love the scaleless mutation.

Satin Sunrise. This beatiful girl was produced here by me a few years ago. She was a holdback and was going to be a breeder for me.....until she started to develop floppy tail. It wasn't bad at all at first, so u paired her once. She laid 2 clutches of dud eggs and since she had never been paired before I wasn't really worried about it. Over the next year the floppy tail became much worse, and bc her health and well being is the most important thing, I decided she shouldn't be breeding jic the floppy tail caused difficulty for her to lay eggs. This means this beatiful lady is available as a PET ONLY. She is so sweet, she loves riding on your shoulder, she comes up to the side of her enclosure when she sees me, and will head to the top to come out. She will make an amazing pet for someone who is looking for a gecko that likes to hang out with you, and loves a good crest scratch. PM me any questions you may have.

For my isopod lovers, and those who have bioactive setups, here is a list of the isopods I have available. I have fallen in love with keeping isopods. I loved collecting bugs as a kid, and playing with lizards, snakes, and turtles I would catch... I'm an adult, and I still love it.
The list below is of colonies that are fully established and are AVAILABLE:

Tip of the week:
Once you have done your research and found the pet that fits your needs/wants; its time to shop. Don't just look in one place. Talk to different breeders, research these breeders. Not all breeders are created equally, lol. Find one that has great reviews, that will take the time to talk to you and work with you, one who doesn't mind answering questions. Pay attention to the physical appearance of the animals. ALWAYS ASK FOR A VIDEO OF THE ANIMALS YOU ARE INTERESTED IN. Pictures can lie. Research and shop around.
