Marley is honestly the best. She is learning more everyday. She even rings the bell for potty breaks ,
crate trained (no yelping) good with other dogs and learning about cats ( several roaming around the neighborhood) Sit , lay and working on stay.
she loves walking , zooming around in the yard , playing with her favorite toys , giving hugs and kisses or getting her belly rubbed

She does not like going for car rides however she does good once in.

Kai met some Chinchilla friends this morning! 🥰 She’s being fostered on a farm with lots of fun animals, other dogs, & new people interactions daily.

She spends her days in doggie DayCare - last night she slept in a crate & went right to sleep. She did absolutely amazing! This morning she’s back at it, playing with friends & waiting for her furever family to come pick her up! 🐾

Miss Kai is available for adoption again - She is quite literally the perfect dog, but will require a family who can exercise her daily (she’s still a puppy!) & work on her kennel training! We’re not the biggest fans of normal wire dog crates, & neither is Kai - She’s a little escape artist & will need something a little stronger (we can provide plenty of resources for links of strong kennels; built for dogs like Kai) She loves her people, so her anxiety comes when she’s left alone.
We’re also requiring miss Kai to have siblings at home! She did amazing in her Foster Home where she had other pup-friends, & she does fantastic at doggie DayCare.

She’s a great size, AH-MAZING with kids (like 🤯🤯) great with other dogs, & has such a fun bubbly personality!! 🐾

We had such a fun little seminar this weekend at the Oxford Rec Center!! 🥰🐾

Megan talked about getting your pup ready for the vet: Body handling, desensitization, vet positioning for blood draws & exams, & more!!

Becca talked about other forms of motivation besides food & treats, play reinforcement, building a relationship through play, enrichment games & activities to try at home, & conditioning the muzzle!

There is a TON of information out there BUT if you don’t work in this field you may not know some of these things & that’s OKAY! That’s why we’re here to help…

🐾 Some topics include: Training, Confidence Building, Body Handling, Get-Vet-Ready (set your dog up for success at the vet), Dental, Grooming (how often should your dog get a nail trim / groom), Shelter Operations (learn how most shelters work), Responsible Breeders (what this looks like & how to spot a GREAT breeder - because this is SO important!), Group Play, Enrichment Games, Dog Sports, & SO MUCH MORE!!

We’ll have guest speakers & demonstrations, plus you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions so we can help problem-solve.

These Seminars will be held monthly (on Sundays) & we will announce the date each month so you can join us! This is OWNER/HANDLER-ONLY - please leave your pups at home! There is no fee to sit-in, but we will have donation jars for Maverick & Me Rescue! 🐶💖
