9/11 Never Forget 🇺🇸
Order now to help our special needs babies put!
ADOPTION SPECIAL! For the months of April & May only, TWO cats for only $75!!! All of our animals come fixed, UTD on shots and microchipped! See our available animals online at www.TLCrescueandrehab.org
We are shutting down the rescue sect and will be focusing on our sanctuary for special needs cats. Let’s find our stragglers a new home!
Happy National Adoption week! We still have 4 babies that have been looking for their forever homes for upwards of 2 years 😢 Adoption profiles can be found online at www.TLCrescueandrehab.org
We expect a freeze this week, if you see a baby in need, remember the below info:
Blossom is feeling the Christmas spirit… or deciding which ornament to knock off first 🎄 Applications for Blossom’s adoption can be found online at www.TLCrescueandrehab.org
Talk about patience! Sweet Pippin loves kids and even participates in dress up / spa days with my daughter. Applications for Pippin and our other availability cats can be found online at www.tlcrescueandrehab.org
Happy Thanksgiving Eve! We have so much to be grateful for this year and we hope you do too! Wishing you all a safe and happy Thanksgiving
We love seeing updates from our adopters!! Elsa and Emmitt couldn’t be happier with their new mom in their forever home ❤️ (Emmitt has gotten so big!!)
Sweet Chloe has taken to being the baby’s guardian. This sweet girl is shy at first but needy for attention once she gets to know you. Chloe is still looking for her forever home and is clearly great with kids. Adoption applications can be submitted online at www.TLCrescueandrehab.org
Today we helped our old man, Cow, over the rainbow 🌈 bridge. He showed up at my house over 9 years ago and never left. Cow was the reason I opened my rescue and he helped me raise and care for each and every cat and kitten that came through our door. We will forever miss our sweet boy 💙
I make it a point to never use rescue funds or request donations for my personal animals or even our sanctuary cats, however, between paying off our established vet debt and Cow’s geriatric care over the last year, our pockets are bare and any little bit helps to go towards his euthanasia and cremation costs 🙏🏻
What a milestone for Blossom!!! For those that don’t know Blossom, she was pulled from a feral colony about 2 years ago and has been considered a “work in progress” since then; Socializing and learning that people aren’t bad. She’s been great about seeking attention on her terms (only if she’s not on ground level and not being picked up), but lately she’s been coming around more, letting new people (yes, strangers) pet her and now this!!! This is the very first time she’s gotten in a lap for attention! We know she will make the best lap cat for the right person - she’s more comfortable around women. She is available for adoption at www.TLCrescueandrehab.org
When the cat is stuck and needs help but you just had a baby and don’t want to get up 😂
Paisley (aka Sissy) doesn’t care who else is already in her spot, she’s going to nap in her hammock 😂 Paisley is just one of the few sweet babies that have been waiting on their forever home for over a year! Adoption applications and profiles can be found online at www.TLCrescueandrehab.org
What a great week! Sweet mama Tilly was adopted through our partners at Altered Feral State this weekend as well! Don’t forget, we have more available animals online at www.TLCrescueandrehab.org
Our sweet Elsa and Emmitt are officially settled into their new home and LOVING IT! We couldn’t be more happy that A. They went together; and B. They went to a wonderful home with no other animals so Elsa can finally be as ease ❤️ we still have five more cats available for adoption at www.TLCrescueandrehab.org
Our poor sweet Cow, one of our special needs/geriatric cats, came down with the Calicivirus and started rapidly dropping weight last week from the pain he experienced trying to eat. After a Covenia shot and gabapentin for the ulcers, he’s eating again and needing mommy cuddles. His weight has been an issue for around a year since he was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, so any fluctuations in his eating habits are extremely worrisome. Fingers crossed his appetite continues to improve 🤞🏻
Adoption is officially pending for Elsa and Emmitt (TOGETHER) 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
It’s taken over 4 months, but I think we are finally making a little headway with Elsa. She still does not do great with all the other cats, but she’s starting to be okay with being around a couple of the more laid back ones. Baby steps!!! Elsa is a complete sweetheart and loves people, but may still do best in a home where she’s the only animal. Adoption applications can be submitted online at www.TLCrescueandrehab.org
I call this “view upon first waking” blurry vision and all…we can’t believe this little man and his mama don’t have a home yet. While we’ve had interest, we have not had anyone meet the qualifications. Applications can be found online at www.TLCrescueandrehab.org
We have some sweethearts that have been here for YEARS waiting on their forever homes 😔
Profiles and adoption applications can be found at www.TLCrescueandrehab.org
So apparently this “making biscuits on mom’s head” is becoming a morning routine 😂 (ignore my belly, Elsa likes to lay on it and feel the baby kick)
Bite mom’s head ✅
Make biscuits enthusiastically ✅
Look hilarious/adorable while doing so ✅
Elsa & Emmitt are still looking for their forever home! Profiles and adoption applications can be found online at www.TLCrescueandrehab.org

These 3 are a hot mess! They are very attached to each other and would love to go all together - I know, three is a lot to take on at one time, but for the right person with an empty home (mama Elsa does not do well with other animals), they would complete a family ❤️ Adoption applications can be found online at www.TLCrescueandrehab.org
Poor Emmitt’s feet sometimes just take him into places [walls] unknown 😂 He and his sister have had run of the house but we have just started letting Elsa out to get face to face time with the rest of the cats 🐈⬛
Tilly: would, you, just, hold, STILL!!! Binx: mooooommmm! I’m clean, stop! (Please excuse the carpet, sundays are cleaning days)..No matter how old Binx gets, his mama will always give him a bath. These two (bonded pair) are still waiting for their forever home. Applications can be submitted online at www.tlcrescueandrehab.org
Little Emmitt and Figgy are up, playing, and absolutely ADORABLE!!! Mama Elsa is still adjusting to being moved into the nursery and is still very wary as she’s never lived with other cats (granted, she can only smell them through the door right now). Hard to believe these littles will be ONE MONTH OLD on Saturday ❤️ we will begin taking applications starting May 1st
Silly Peanut is not only a master of parkour, but a self-fetch playing expert as well! Peanut (aka Nut Nut) has more personality and funny quirks than any cat I’ve ever met and even more love to give. Peanut is still awaiting his forever home and would love to go with his foster brother, Dewey. Applications and animal profiles can be found online at www.TLCrescueandrehab.org
Sweet Penny just doesn’t get it. She is young and pretty and has so much love to give, yet she’s had no adoption interest 🥺 She would love to find her forever home (with another kitty, especially one of her foster siblings). Applications can be found online at www.TLCrescueandrehab.org. Adoption fees for multiples are currently discounted!! Meet and greets are always welcome (still must complete an application since all animals are kept in-home).
Around this time every night there is a WWE Smackdown in the living room. Tonight’s match up: Daisy v Delilah…. All this playing makes some hungry babies. They would greatly appreciate some post-wrestling food! Please see our below wish lists and consider donating some much needed supplies. https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/3S7XOJDSQFFIJ?ref_=wl_share https://www.chewy.com/g/the-lap-cat-rescue-rehabilitation-inc_b70095463#wish-list
The D’s just don’t understand why no one has wanted to adopt them yet 😢 they are young, playful and the biggest snuggle bugs who love getting (and giving) kisses. All of our babies are UTD on shots, fixed and microchipped. Starting tomorrow through the end of the year, adoption fees will be reduced for adoptions of multiples ❤️💜🧡💚💛💙 applications can be filled out online at www.TLCrescueandrehab.org
Something along the lines of 100+ toys throughout the house and they want a paper towel roll 🤦🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ while the babies have ample toys, they are running low on food and litter! Please see our wish lists below and consider donating much needed supplies. https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/3S7XOJDSQFFIJ?ref_=wl_share https://www.chewy.com/g/the-lap-cat-rescue-rehabilitation-inc_b70095463#wish-list
Peanut is a master of hardcore parkour and would love a new home in which to show off his amazing skills!!! Adoption applications for Peanut and his friends can be found and submitted online at www.TLCrescueandrehab.org
