🌟🐾 We Did It! 🐾🌟

I am beyond excited to share some incredible news with you all — Paws N’ Claws Pet Services has officially been named a Best of Florida Regional Winner in Pet Sitting & Boarding! 🏆✨

This has been such a hard secret to keep, but now I can finally celebrate with the people (and pets!) who made this possible. 💕

When I started this journey, my dream was to provide trusted, loving, and reliable care for pets while giving their families peace of mind. To now be recognized at this level is absolutely surreal — and it’s not just my win, it’s ours.

This achievement belongs to every wagging tail I’ve walked, every purr I’ve been greeted with, every sloppy kiss, and every amazing client who has supported me along the way. Your trust, loyalty, and encouragement are what made this possible. 🐶🐱🐾

I cannot thank you enough for being part of the Paws N’ Claws family. From the bottom of my heart — thank you for voting, for recommending us, and for letting us be part of your pets’ lives. This award is a reflection of the community we’ve built together, one filled with love, care, and a whole lot of happy paws.

Here’s to more snuggles, more happy tails, and many more adventures together! 💖

🌍✈️ Upcoming Travel & Availability Notice ✈️🌍

Most of you know by now that I’ll be heading back to Greece soon for our IVF journey. This has been such a long, emotional road, and I can’t thank you enough for the support, love, and prayers you’ve shared with me along the way. ❤️

Here are some important dates to keep in mind for scheduling:

📌 Unavailable Dates Prior to Travel

September 12–14

September 20–21

September 27–28

📌 Travel Dates

I leave October 3rd and will return November 4th.

While I’m away, I will not be taking my business phone with me, so the best way to reach me will be through our page or directly through Time to Pet. Please also keep in mind that Greece is 8 hours ahead of Florida, so my response times may be delayed. I promise I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

When I return from Greece, I’ll know more about what the next steps look like. If everything goes the way we are hoping and praying it will, I will need to take an extended leave and won’t be available for pet sitting. If it is not successful this time, I will be back to work as normal in November.

I’ll keep everyone updated once I return, but I wanted to make sure you had plenty of notice to plan ahead for your fur babies’ care. As a reminder: We have an amazing sitter, Peyton, who works with us and is amazing!

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your understanding and for always being so supportive of me, both personally and professionally. It means so much to walk this journey with such an incredible community beside me. 🐾✨

🚨 Important Dates & Update from Paws N’ Claws 🚨

Hi everyone! I wanted to share a few upcoming dates when I will personally be unavailable:

📅 September 12–14
📅 September 19–21
📅 September 27–28
📅 Then we will be returning to Greece for the month of October for the next stage of our IVF journey.

I also want to give everyone a heads up about a potential change down the road. If our IVF is successful (🤞 and we’re hopeful!), I will be considered high risk and placed on bed rest for the entire pregnancy, which means I won’t be physically caring for pets during that time.

But don’t worry — I’ll still be managing everything behind the scenes, and Peyton and Rebecca will continue to take wonderful care of your beloved pets.

If the IVF is not successful, nothing changes — I’ll be back to loving on your babies as usual.

I truly appreciate everyone’s understanding, patience, and support during this exciting (and a little scary) time. I’m so sorry for any inconvenience my absence may cause, but we’re committed to making sure your pets are always cared for with the highest level of love and professionalism.

Thank you all for being such an incredible part of our journey. 💕

🎆🐾 Happy Fourth of July from all of us at Paws N claws! ! 🐾🎆

Today we’re celebrating freedom, fireworks, and of course… our favorite four-legged friends! 🐶🐱

While you enjoy the festivities, don’t forget to keep your pets safe and comfy — fireworks and parties can be stressful for them. Here are a few tips to keep them happy and secure tonight:

✨ Keep pets indoors during fireworks — a quiet, cozy space works best.
✨ Make sure they’re wearing ID tags or are microchipped, just in case.
✨ Skip the table scraps — many foods are harmful to pets.
✨ Take them out for a potty break before the fireworks begin.
✨ Stay calm and reassure them — your presence helps!

We’re so thankful for the paws, tails, and whiskers that make our days brighter. Wishing you and your furry family a safe and happy Independence Day!

I wanted to share a quick update with you all: we’ll be heading back to Greece this October for another month for the second half of our IVF journey (implantation phase). We don’t have the exact dates just yet, but I wanted to give everyone plenty of notice that it's coming.

In addition to the upcoming October trip, here are a few other dates I’ll be unavailable:
📌 Sunday, June 8th
📌 June 14th–16th
📌 July 18th–20th
📌 September 12th–14th
📌 September 19th–21st
📌 September 27th–28th

Of course, while I’m away, our incredible team of sitters will be available to make sure your pets are still receiving the love and care they’re used to. 🐶🐾

Once I have confirmed October dates, I’ll be sure to share them here. Thank you so much for your support, understanding, and for trusting us with your furry family members. 💙

The Part of Pet Sitting No One Talks About…

When people think of pet sitting, they usually think of belly rubs, wagging tails, playtime, and treats. And yes—those are some of the best parts of what we do.

But there’s a quieter side to this work. A more emotional side that often goes unnoticed.

We fall in love with your pets.

We learn their personalities, their routines, the way they greet us at the door, or how they like their food prepared just right. We celebrate their milestones, comfort them when they’re sick, and sit quietly with them when they’re scared or just need a little extra love.

We’re there when you go on vacation, when you're in the hospital, when life gets chaotic. We care for your pets like family—because they become ours, too.

And when it's time to say goodbye?

We grieve.

When your beloved pet crosses the rainbow bridge, we feel the loss deeply. We remember the zoomies, the kisses, the soft purrs, and the goofy grins. We cry in our cars, we talk about them like they’re still here, and we carry their memory with us to every new visit.

And it’s not just loss through death. When a client moves away or schedules change and we no longer get to see that sweet face every day, it’s a different kind of heartbreak. The quiet kind. The kind that reminds us just how deep these bonds run.

Pet sitting is a privilege. It’s not just a service—it’s a relationship built on trust, love, and connection. And for that, we are endlessly thankful.

So if we’ve ever loved your pet, know this: they’re not “just a job” to us. They’re part of our story, and their paw prints are on our hearts forever.

Thank you for letting us be part of their lives. It means more than words can say.

– With love,
The Paws N’ Claws Pet Services Team

Summer Pet Safety: What Every Pet Owner Should Know

As temperatures rise, so do the risks for our furry friends. Here are a few things to keep in mind during the summer months:

1. Hot pavement = burnt paws
If it’s too hot for your bare feet, it’s too hot for theirs. Walk pets early in the morning or later in the evening when it’s cooler.

2. Heatstroke happens fast
Pets can overheat quickly—especially flat-faced breeds, seniors, and pets with thick coats. Watch for excessive panting, drooling, lethargy, or unresponsiveness.

3. Never leave pets in cars
Even with windows cracked, a car can become deadly in minutes.

4. Hydration is key
Always provide fresh, cool water—indoors and out.

5. Fireworks & thunderstorms
These loud summer events can cause major stress. Create a quiet, safe space and consult your vet if your pet has severe anxiety.

Summer should be fun—not dangerous. A little extra caution goes a long way in keeping your pets safe and happy all season long!

This is why hiring a professional pet sitter matters.
Stories like this are heartbreaking and infuriating—but they’re also an important reminder. Your pets deserve compassionate, qualified care from someone who is trained, insured, and held to a professional standard.

Important Reminder: Greece Trip & Client Information

Hey Paws N’ Claws family!

As a reminder, I will be traveling to Greece for IVF treatment from April 26th through May 20th ish. This is a big and personal step in my journey, and I truly appreciate your support and understanding during this time.

Here are some important things to keep in mind while I’m away:

1. No Business Phone Access:
I will NOT be bringing my business phone with me to Greece. Please do not text or call (850) 619-5913, as I won’t be able to see or respond to any messages sent to that number until I return.

2. Time Difference Matters:
Greece is 7 hours ahead of our local time here in Florida. This means I may not be able to respond immediately, and my availability will be limited.

3. How to Reach Us:
- Time to Pet is the preferred and most reliable way to communicate during my trip.
- Facebook Messenger and email are also acceptable if needed, but please expect some delay due to the time difference and limited availability.

4. Pet Care Continues as Usual:
- Our trusted team—Peyton and Rebecca—will continue caring for your pets as scheduled.
- Everyone has been fully briefed and prepared to ensure smooth visits while I’m away.

5. Booking & Schedule Changes:
- You can still request visits through Time to Pet as usual.
- If you need to make any changes to an upcoming reservation, please do so with as much notice as possible so our team can adjust accordingly.

6. Emergencies:
- Our sitters are trained in emergency protocols and know how to reach me if absolutely necessary.

Thank you again for your continued support and for trusting us with your beloved pets. I’ll be back soon, and I look forward to seeing you all when I return!
