💳 Payment Policy Reminder – Please Read 💳

At Paws N’ Claws Pet Services, transparency and professionalism are extremely important to us. Our payment policy has been in place for quite some time, but with our schedule continuing to stay full, we want to take a moment to clearly restate it and explain why it exists.

We completely understand that no one enjoys paying late fees — we don’t like charging them either. However, over the years we’ve unfortunately experienced situations where payments were delayed or not received at all, which required time chasing invoices instead of caring for pets. To ensure we can continue providing reliable, high-quality care, the following payment policy is strictly enforced:

🐾 Payment Due Date
• Payments are due one week prior to the start of your service.
• If your booking is made within one week of the service start date, payment is due immediately.

🐾 Late Fees
• A $5 per day late fee will be applied for each day a payment is overdue.
• Late fees are automatically applied by our system and can no longer be waived under any circumstances.

🐾 Unpaid Invoice Fee
• If services begin without payment being received, a 20% fee will be automatically added to the invoice.

We do our best to stay on top of sending invoices and automated invoice reminders, but with a busy schedule this is not always possible. If your services are approaching and you have not yet received an emailed invoice or reminder, open invoices can always be viewed and paid directly through your Time To Pet profile.

On-time payment is crucial to our ability to stay open, cover business expenses, pay our sitters promptly, and continue providing consistent, high-quality care for your pets. These policies help keep our business sustainable so we can keep showing up for your animals, day after day. 🐶🐱

All policies are clearly outlined in our service agreement and on every invoice. We truly appreciate our clients who communicate, pay on time, and support our small business. Thank you for your understanding and continued trust in Paws N’ Claws Pet Services! 💙🐾

🚨 COLD WEATHER ALERT – DECEMBER 14–15 🚨

We are expected to experience dangerously cold temperatures this weekend (December 14th & 15th), which can be extremely unsafe for pets—especially here in Florida where animals are not acclimated to prolonged cold.

Please take a few extra precautions to keep pets AND local strays safe:

🐶 For Your Pets

Bring pets indoors whenever possible—especially overnight
Limit time outside and keep potty breaks short
Ensure pets have warm bedding, away from drafts
Small, senior, short-haired, and ill pets are especially vulnerable
Check paws after walks for cold irritation

🐱 For Community & Outdoor Cats

Provide insulated shelter (storage bin, straw, blankets—NOT towels)
Place shelters off the ground and away from wind
Offer extra food—animals burn more calories staying warm
Fresh, unfrozen water is critical

🚗 Before Starting Your Car

Tap your hood or honk briefly—cats may seek warmth under engines

If you see an animal in distress or exposed to the elements with no shelter, please reach out to local animal services or rescues when possible.

🚨 LOCAL PET RELIEF – WE NEED YOUR HELP 🚨

Over 300 pets were just flown into NAS Pensacola from Guantánamo Bay to escape the incoming hurricane. These animals belong to our Navy servicemen and women who had to evacuate quickly — and they’re arriving with very limited supplies.

We are stepping up to help, and we know this community will too. ❤️

🐾 What’s Needed:
• Unopened dog or cat food
• Donations collected through Tuesday
• We will personally deliver all donations on Tuesday

If you can’t drop off your donation, we will pick it up for you. Email us to schedule a drop off location for you or a pick up from us.

🌟 Policy Spotlight: Why Our Visit Minimums Matter 🌟

At Paws N Claws Pet Services, your pets’ safety is always our top priority! 🐾

🐱 Cats: Minimum of 1 visit per day
🐶 Dogs: Minimum of 2 visits per day (unless there’s a secure, fenced yard with a dog door)

Here’s why this policy exists ⬇️

💧 Health & Safety:
Pets can get into trouble fast — even the most independent ones! Cats can knock something over, get trapped in a closet, or develop a urinary blockage within hours. Dogs can have tummy issues or get anxious when left too long. Daily visits mean we catch problems early before they become emergencies.

🐾 Real-Life Examples:

A client’s cat once accidentally shut herself in a closet. Because we had a daily visit, she was safe within hours instead of days.

A pup we saw twice a day suddenly got sick overnight — we caught it right away, and we were able to get him vet care before it became serious.

We’ve even caught home issues like small water leaks early, saving clients from expensive repairs.

Regular visits mean your pets are checked, loved, and cared for daily — and your home stays safe, too.

🌍✈️ Just a quick reminder! We’ll be heading back to Greece on October 3rd and returning on November 4th.

During this time, I’ll be away from pet sitting as we continue our IVF journey. As of now, I’m not sure what the next steps will look like, but I promise to keep everyone updated along the way—especially if this round is successful! 💕

🐾 Important: Peyton will still be here and available for pet visits while I’m gone, so your pets will continue to be well cared for!

🌟🐾 We Did It! 🐾🌟

I am beyond excited to share some incredible news with you all — Paws N’ Claws Pet Services has officially been named a Best of Florida Regional Winner in Pet Sitting & Boarding! 🏆✨

This has been such a hard secret to keep, but now I can finally celebrate with the people (and pets!) who made this possible. 💕

When I started this journey, my dream was to provide trusted, loving, and reliable care for pets while giving their families peace of mind. To now be recognized at this level is absolutely surreal — and it’s not just my win, it’s ours.

This achievement belongs to every wagging tail I’ve walked, every purr I’ve been greeted with, every sloppy kiss, and every amazing client who has supported me along the way. Your trust, loyalty, and encouragement are what made this possible. 🐶🐱🐾

🌍✈️ Upcoming Travel & Availability Notice ✈️🌍

Most of you know by now that I’ll be heading back to Greece soon for our IVF journey. This has been such a long, emotional road, and I can’t thank you enough for the support, love, and prayers you’ve shared with me along the way. ❤️

Here are some important dates to keep in mind for scheduling:

I leave October 3rd and will return November 4th.

While I’m away, I will not be taking my business phone with me, so the best way to reach me will be through our page or directly through Time to Pet. Please also keep in mind that Greece is 8 hours ahead of Florida, so my response times may be delayed. I promise I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

When I return from Greece, I’ll know more about what the next steps look like. If everything goes the way we are hoping and praying it will, I will need to take an extended leave and won’t be available for pet sitting. If it is not successful this time, I will be back to work as normal in November.

I’ll keep everyone updated once I return, but I wanted to make sure you had plenty of notice to plan ahead for your fur babies’ care. As a reminder: We have an amazing sitter, Peyton, who works with us and is amazing!

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your understanding and for always being so supportive of me, both personally and professionally. It means so much to walk this journey with such an incredible community beside me. 🐾✨
