Good afternoon. Like we mentioned we are working on removing a super aggressive hive on the corner of Mt. Charleston and Dandelion. We decided to take a break to allow kids getting off from school in the area to get to a safe place. Once we start breaking into hive it will take us about a couple of hours to contain the situation. We will start at around 4pm this afternoon. Please if you are in the area stay inside while we remove this hive. Thank you 😊!!

Good afternoon! Not a lot people have ever seen a queen 👸 bee 🐝, so here is a queen from a removal we did last week. You can notice how much bigger she is compared to her fellow worker bees! Shoshone Museum Hive.

This was a fun one! The Shoshone Museum building has been around for over 100 years! So when they told us they had found a hive under the museum we knew it was going to be a challenge. The building itself has been moved from the Death Valley area a while ago and while doing an inspection there was no way that we could cut into the floor without risking damaging the structure, so we had to dig a small trench on the side of the building big enough for me to access them. It was a fairly cranky hive and very very strong in numbers! The longest piece of comb that I pulled out was almost 4 feet long. These guys will stay here and we are now the official Honey producer for Shoshone, California. I will be splitting this hive in the next couple of months and in a couple years we’ll have a bunch out here. Thank you to the wonderful staff in Shoshone, the Inyo County Sheriff’s Office and Susan Brown for being such awesome hosts and very excited to work together on this project!

Remember for all you bee issues give us a call. We serve all of Nevada and most of California. This was a very gentle hive out in Las Vegas. They had been in there for about a year, we got them in their new home and into one of our bee yards. Give us a call if you have bee issues. We’ll come out and give you a free estimate. Good morning! We got a call yesterday afternoon about a swarm that landed at West Gate RV Park so we came out to do some educating and see what they wanted to do. We explained them Swarm behavior and that they are just resting before their next stop. They ended up opting for us to take them away because of the amount of places that they could make their home within the RV park. Very gentle bees and they immediately accepted their new home 🏠. We got the queen 👸 and all the girls up to their new place at one of my bee yards on the north end. Remember, bee 🐝 season started as soon as it warmed up out here. We got a call about a beehive in a irrigation control box and here we are getting ready to take them to their forever home. Good morning! We didn’t set up at our spot yesterday because we got a call from the Shoshone Museum about a hive that is currently living underneath the building. We came out and figured out a plan to keep the bees 🐝 safe and also this old building with such wonderful history. They are interested in us building an observation hive within the building so everyone can come out and check it out! We’ll be tackling this in a couple of days. Pahrump Honey Company We were going to setup today at our usual spot but the weather was so nice this morning that we decided to check our hives after this wind the last couple of days. We were going to setup in the afternoon but the wind decided to make another appearance. So we’ll be out there at 2100 NV-160 Pahrump, NV 89048 tomorrow 9:30am till 5pm. Here I leave you a video of one of our hives doing what they do, they seem to be bringing some pollen from some date palm trees 🌴. ❤️
