We’ve got goals set and now it’s time to put the work in. I’ve not worked a lot of strict obedience with him lately mainly been doing bites and detection work but it’s still there just needs some good polishing. Need to work on tightening up turns and staying in his down while I retrieve the leash. We’ll work again this evening when the sun isn’t as much of a killer

Ole Zane has good core strength and good patience, this dogs willingness and passion he puts into his work makes me cherish him more and more daily

Miss Kimber, a Tia X Zane pup from the last litter, doing her thing out Lowe’s. Such a sweet girl and even for one of the lower drive pups in the litter she’s ALL about the ball. She’ll go and go for it. Thank you Jessica and Matt for letting me help out with Kimber and especially for giving her such a wonderful home.

Love these pups, drives are there and very much workable if wanted. They’ve done great with all gun shots, and surfaces they’ve experienced. Very confident little pups. Why have just a dog when you can have a very useful tool that is also a family pet. I’m not saying it’s easy by any means but if you’re willing to put the time and work in you can have a dog that you KNOW will engage when needed not just “hope so”. Mr. Miner doing his thing out in town, we really enjoyed having this playful guy here. More work with Zane from this weeks training

No matter how much you think your dog will protect you, without the proper training and genetics it’s not going to happen. Tons of time has been put into Zane and tons more will still be put in to making him better and showing him as many possibilities as I can. Wether it’s protection, detection, or basic obedience you have to make sure your putting in the work and making sure that works is as consistent as possible. Zane and I doing what we love most. They can look mean but if they ain’t willing to do the job then it’s just a smoke show. We train for the what if’s. Zane is a son from Ivo X Izzy’s first pairing, he’s been everything we wanted in that pairing. This is the same pairing that our current litter is out of.

Frankie earlier in the week working on his place, he’s been doing great in a short time.

Public Service Announcement! Most everyone knows the first situation isn’t acceptable nor safe, but a lot of people don’t realize the second situation is just as bad and potentially dangerous. Leaving a pup home alone uncrated is just asking for bad behaviors to guaranteed.

Car rides!!! In less than 24 hrs Siren has had 4 car rides already, if you want your dog use to going places and not be terrified of the car you have to take them places. Unfortunately most people only do car rides for Vet visits, of course your dog will hate getting in the car if that’s the only place I’d goes. Make sure they see the world while their young.

May not be the most pleasant thing but an ABSOLUTE must for pups. Quit letting your emotions get involved and let them cry it out then let them out rewarding the calm polite behavior. Your 2 month old baby doesn’t have unlimited freedom neither should your 2 month old puppy. So many bad behaviors can be avoided by simple kennel training early on.

Took Sage out to lowes today to get the training in, brought Zane along to help add some distractions. Sage done great, getting better everyday. Get out there and train, put the time in and it will always pay off.

Love this spunky girl so much. If you want a happy dog you got to be willing to be fun and exciting, if you aren’t they’ll find something or someone else that is.
