I could not be prouder today. I never thought i would grow such a passion for this.
Funny going from having no dogs growing up and begging my parents for one to having six dogs and bettering an amazing breed.
I look forward to providing people with the wonderful companions i am able to produce in the future!

Breeding dogs is a lifetime of losses.

We lose newborn puppies...
We lose show prospects that don't turn out..
We lose dogs that fail health testing...
We lose dog shows...
We lose sleep way too often...
We lose young mothers...
And if all goes well, we still lose our beloved old dogs.

Yet we all are here for the little gains that seem to keep us going.

A puppy that takes it's first breath..
A nuzzle by our best old pal..
A ribbon at a dog show...
A light in a family's eyes when they hold their puppy for the firt time...
A wag of a tail...
A new generation that turns out better than the one before...

All for the love of a dog and the breed as a whole, our hearts are resilient.💗

Lilly did a fantastic job last night, bringing seven strong pups into the world. One chocolate male, one chocolate female, three yellow females, and two black females. I say this with the upmost pride. Lilly will be retiring having never lost a puppy, never had a stillborn and having had extremely healthy litters. I could not have been blessed with a better momma. I look forward to seeing how her pups turn out!
