To all my puppy families:
I sent an article about parvo that I think is a good read and highlights on the importance of continuing vaccinations and avoiding high traffic puppy areas until puppy is fully vaccinated (please speak with your vet about it).
Since some puppies are very close to going home I thought I’d mention a few things.
You may want to bring a collar and a leash on pick up day. The collars that the puppies have on are break away whelping collars (I’ll post a picture). The collars easily come unhooked for the puppies safety and a leash will not work with their current collars.
With my last litter, the puppies had never been on a car ride and some of them did cry and get nauseous- just a heads up.
The puppies are on a current feeding schedule of 7:45am, 1:45pm, and 7:45pm. I’m sure that they will easily adjust to your new feeding schedule. Once puppy goes home, they may not have an immediate appetite as they adjust to their new surroundings. The puppies will also most likely cry at night until they have adjusted to their new home and get used to being away from their fur mom, fur dad, and litter mates.
Once puppy goes home, your more than welcome to share as many pictures/videos as you’d like to me whether it’s on this page, text, or messenger- I will love getting updates! Also, please feel free to reach out once the puppies go to their new homes if you have any new puppy questions/concerns. I look forward to seeing all of you very soon❤️!
