I started out as a bather for a high traffic groom shop vet and doggy daycare center. I decided that I loved it so much that I wanted to learn to groom myself. I had 2 wonderful mentors that trained me and now I'm grooming, and i absolutely love what i do.

The Poodle comes in three sizes: Standard, Miniature and Toy. They're a glamorous, intelligent breed that descended from European duck hunters 🩆

Did you know? The Poodle trim, which is sometimes viewed as a fashionable fancy trim for show dogs, is in fact traditional and very practical: the hindquarters being clipped to aid the dog’s propulsion in swimming and the protective bands of hair (now fancifully called pom-poms) left on the joints and tip of the tail for protection from cold.

Today, the Sheriff’s Office responded to a call about a citizen who attempted to rescue an injured owl on the roadside. Upon arrival, deputies found the individual in their vehicle with the owl gripping their arm.

Deputies safely removed the owl and placed it in a cage, thanks to assistance from the Louisburg Police Department. The owl was then transported by the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office Animal Control to Operation Wildlife for treatment.

We advise everyone to contact the appropriate authorities for wildlife situations rather than intervening directly.

I know the salon isn’t open yet but I’m planning on getting Dragonfly Dog Co. hoodies / sweatshirts made if any family / friends / clients are interested. The cost for crew neck sweatshirts under size 2x are $30.50 and hoodies under size 2x are 37.50. They will have a small chest logo and a full back logo.

I’ll take orders until Nov. 1st and collect payments then. Then I’ll pass our order on to the printers.
