Here it is everybody! The new official name! I’ll leave the page as Grooming by Dakota for a couple of days before changing it 💚

I decided to go with this name because Dragonflies are often associated with transformation and renewal, which fits so well with the concept of grooming and making dogs feel fresh and clean. 💚💚 Plus, I just love them.

Brandon has been hard at work on the salon. I promise we’re doing all we can to get it finished as quickly as we can. I can’t thank you all enough for your patience. Believe me, I’m ready for it to be in operation too. I can’t wait to see all my dogs again.

BUT, while he’s been doing that I’ve been working on the administrative side of things and I’m excited to announce that Grooming by Dakota has a new and official business name.

It’s a little weird since I’ve been known by that name for so long but I wanted my business to have a more professional name.

Stay tuned for the announcement of the new name! I can’t wait to see what you all think of it.

I’m at the Heart of America grooming expo this weekend taking continuing education courses from some of the leading names in the industry. Today I took a class from Blake Hernandez and Joey Villani and both were amazing. After break I’ll come back and do the CPR and First Aid certification course with Kelsey Ann Sexton.
