..........OR you Could also board your horse at our mini farm...Shamrock Farms, LLC.
THEN you can come enjoy your horse.
No stalls to clean....no grain, etc. To have to go haul and unload. Or worrying about buying hay.
If you can't be at barn for vet, farrier or dentist....we've got it covered.
Indoor arena with hot/cold water indoor wash rack.
Very close to Paragould.
If you want riding lessons they (up to you) they can be added....25 years experienced certified riding instructor.
Traveling and vacations? Not a problem
Because we are a full care barn.

Horses aren’t convenient. There, I said it. If convenience is what you're after, I highly recommend finding a different hobby! Horses aren't here for our convenience—they're living, breathing beings with needs that go far beyond just food and water. They need care, attention, and connection.

If you have a horse, get ready to cancel dinner plans, skip vacations, and lay awake at night worrying if they’re okay. They’re like children, with all the responsibility that comes with it. You’ll need to rearrange your life to be there for them, and let’s be honest, that can feel overwhelming at times.

It’s inconvenient when you’re up late checking on them, or when a perfectly sunny day turns into hours of mucking stalls instead of enjoying a ride. It’s inconvenient when you have to adjust your budget (again) for an unexpected vet bill or cancel that vacation because no one else can take care of them the way you do.

But here’s the thing: despite all of that, it’s so worth it. Every bit of inconvenience fades away when you experience the bond that comes from truly caring for and connecting with a horse. That feeling when you look into their eyes and see trust, loyalty, and understanding—it’s priceless. They might be inconvenient, but they’re also incredibly rewarding.

They're kind of both messy after last weeks frigid weather......not much energy left for tidying up 😳
But all got exercise, warm grain feeds and warm water and lots of hay....they're happy.

My "hooman" family got cared for and well fed too! 😜

Good advice!

Stop giving your money to trainers who talk down to you, and make you feel like sh*t 😫🙅‍♀️

I don’t know about you, but I’m sick and tired of the trainer/client (trainer/student) dynamic that has been standardized and is continuing to the day to be accepted.

Why do we allow trainers to speak down to us?

Why is it okay for them to make us feel bad for making mistakes or being human?

Why are we accepting open ridicule, belittling, gaslighting, and worse from professionals we pay to teach us?

I can tell you I don’t accept it anymore. 🙅‍♀️

And you shouldn’t either!

If your trainer…

• makes you cry
• makes fun of you or your horse
• talks down to you
• makes disparaging remarks about you, your horse, or your riding
• talks about you behind your back
• yells at you
• throws things or in any way loses their temper around you or your horse
• or is in general unsupportive and negative

You need to be giving your hard earned money and precious time to someone else. No ifs ands or buts.

I don’t care how popular of a trainer they are, how many medals they’ve won, how fancy their horses are, or who says they are the “best”.

You and your horse deserve better. 🫵
