Say hi to Zoe! We love getting to spend time with this girl on our dog walking and pet sitting visits.

Zoe has made great progress in focusing and allowing us to loose leash walk together. She can get distracted easily by other dogs, bunnies and people but we are so proud of how well she can get her attention back on us while walking.

It has long been thought that dogs are colorblind, but in fact they can see blue, yellow and shades of grey!

While humans have 3 different types of cones in our eyes that allows us to see a wider range of colors, dogs only have 2 types of cones so they can see limited colors.
Technically, dogs are red-green colorblind but not completely colorblind!

Meet Apollo! He is a 10 month old pup I'm training! 🐾 Apollo's owners have a baby on the way, so we started with the Basic Buddies package and are now moving on to the Advanced Skills package!

Apollo is doing amazing and we love that his owners are so committed to training him and practicing! We know they will all be so successful and a happy family when Baby arrives 🐶

Meet Tinkerbell! She is 5 years old and a very sweet girl who became a little too much for her elderly owner to handle .

Tinkerbell would do best in a home with no kids or older kids. She does like to jump for attention but we are working on her calm greetings. Whoever adopts her will get 30% off their first package!

Hey everyone! We are helping look for a new home for this sweet 6mo pitbull puppy Missy. We are taking care of her until she finds a good home. She is an energetic dog who needs to find a good and patient home. She likes to rough play and still has her puppy habits but is very food motivated and wants to please. We have been working on her manners through basic obedience training but the current owners can no longer keep her.

The weather is getting hotter and that means it's time for a pet summer safety reminder! 🥵

Some pets do not like to or won't wear protective booties on their paws, so try to walk your pets early in the morning or evening avoiding the hottest part of the afternoons.

Extra tips:
☀️Give pets plenty of shade
💧Access to water
🚗Never leave pets in a hot car
🔥 Know the signs of heatstroke!

Meet Ms. Cat, Ranger, and Ruby! We love being able to watch these siblings! 😻🦜

Ms Cat is a very sweet girl who greets us excitedly when we arrive and she especially loves her treats!

Ranger (green) and Ruby (red) are rescue eclectus parrots. When Ruby arrived she had a skin condition causing her to pluck her feathers out. But they are very happy to be in their forever home!

They even say "peekaboo!" although I haven't been able to catch it on video 😂

Ms Cat is such a sweetie and well behaved she leaves the birdies alone 🥰

Say hi to Baba Vass and Ahsoka! My two newest training clients 🐾

Baba is 2 years old and we are working on his reactivity towards other dogs and people on the leash. He is leash reactive due to a desire to be protective of his owners as well as a trauma history of being bit by an off leash dog in the past.
Ahsoka is 6 months old and we are working on basic obedience and household manners with her!

Working with these two reminds me how proud I am to be ABC and Fear Free certified so I can help these sweet babies be the best they can be with force free handling techniques only!

We are so proud of the progress Penny has made with loose leash walking! As a bloodhound, her DNA is hardwired to sniff in every direction. Due to these natural tendencies, she started out as a little bit of a wild child on the leash on our weekly walks. But now after our time together training and walking, she now sniffs on cue and will walk on the left of you consistently.
