Oops, we did it again! We have pulled another pup in our care. Buckle up, her journey is bumpy. Amara’s story began in Kuwait, where dogs often face heartbreaking circumstances. While there, she was tragically run over by an oil truck and left for dead. Miraculously, thanks to the compassionate team at , Amara was rescued and underwent life-saving spinal surgery to pin her spine back together. Yes, to literally put her back together.
Through months of rehabilitation, she learned how to walk again and was given the opportunity to come to the United States to find her forever home. Unfortunately, that forever home hasn’t found her yet and she was staying at a boarding facility in Virginia, just waiting.
Save a Soul reached out to us to see if we could help Amara with the final step of her incredible journey — finding a home where she can finally rest and feel safe again. Amara is NOW out of boarding and in a foster home with us. Thank you to Save a Soul and the foster that stepped up to give Amara the second chance she deserves.
