🐾MEET MILAAN: A gentle gray faced senior girl that has been adopted, returned (at no fault of hers), and had multiple meet and greets yet she still does not have a home. At her meet and greets, the potential adopters always said no, because she does not instantly attach herself to them. She spends her time sniffing the unfamiliar space and checking out the sights and sounds instead of instantly claiming that human as hers.
We say to those that said no, that it was their loss, because Milaan is definitely a cuddlebug- she just needs a little time to learn and trust that person. This summer, she went to a dog sitter while her foster family was on vacation and the sitter said, "Milaan is sweet and loves people; whoever ends up adopting her is one lucky person. Yesterday when I was bringing in stuff from my car, she could hear me and I could hear her whining for when I was outside, she really loves her humans."
Does that sound like a dog that doesn't attach herself to her humans? Not at all.
