It has been a lot of fun getting eggs from the chickens and quail. The size differences and colors of the eggs can be surprising each day. I have more chicks that will eventually lay different color eggs and fertilized pheasant and bobwhite eggs coming soon. I do have a limited supply of chicken eggs and quail eggs for eating if anyone is interested just let me know.

Jam for sale if anyone is interested. I have strawberry blueberry. Which contains strawberries, blueberries, sugar and pectin. Blueberry spice. Which contains blueberries, sugar, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and pectin. All blueberries and strawberries were grown local In Michigan but not here as we don’t have either yet. $5 a half pint. I do have more then two jars of strawberry blueberry it was just set out for the photo.

First batch of pickles made. Dill and polish dill. The vast majority of ingredients are things we grow cucumbers, dill, garlic. Vinegar, salt and pickling spice are the other ingredients. For a quart size jar it will be $15.

Things are planted and growing well for the year. I have planted a lot more this year with different things then I have tried before. I am hoping for a good bountiful year

Which a weather going to warm up means plans to start planting. This year we are going to be able to plant even more then last year with a wider variety of vegetables. I am very excited to begin this year and start canning again

My husband got me a new pellet grill. It has been a great purchase already. I made dill pickle flavored jerky, smoked fish, chicken and smoked pizza. All is super delicious.

A little about the faces behind the productive beagle. Mr. Copper Blue is my male tri-colored beagle. He is going to be five in May. Miss. Lilly Pea is my lemon beagle. She is still a baby and is only eight months old. My name is Anna. I have learned to can with my dad and have carried it on with me into my adult life. Gardening and canning is something I have grown passionate about and enjoy doing. My husband is Matthew. He is usually working when I decide to do all my canning but will help me when he’s home.

Looking to see if anyone is interested in homemade spaghetti kits. The kit would include a quart jar of homemade spaghetti sauce and homemade spaghetti noodles approximately 1lb. Noodles could be plain which is made with two types of flour. Veggie noodles made with veggie juice added in the mix. Beet noodles which would add beet just to the mix. Gluten free can be done with almond flour.
