Sorry to announce that Happy Trails Pet Sitting is closing it's doors. I have been in business for over 10 years. I have met a lot of wonderful people and pets along my journey. It breaks my heart to let it all go, but I have already taken a job somewhere else. I will still have time to do some personal pet sitting that will work around my job. But, Happy Trails is closed. So, I will be doing this on a personal level, and if I can make it work with my new job. I will keep this page up for a while so you can message me to arrange the return of your keys, or information on how to contact me for personal pet sitting in the future. I have used Advantage, Frontline, and Advocate on my dogs for many years with great success. However, over the past few years these products didn't seem to work as well as they did in the past. So, after talking with my Vet I learned that the only flea medication that really works anymore is Nexgard and Confortis. I learned that the fleas have built up a resistance against the brands that we have used in the past, and therefore making it impossible to kill the fleas with these products.

She's at Sumter County Animal Services and time is short. She has a darling face, silky soft fur, and eyes that are truly gorgeous. Please consider giving her the best life she could dream of. This shelter is closed Thanksgiving Day and the Friday following. This dog is in grave danger and would ideally be adopted Wednesday, November 26 or when the shelter reopens Monday, December 1. Please call shelter Monday morning and make a plan to go and adopt asap. Take her ID number with you. (ID # A035971)

All animals at Sumter are considered URGENT. If unadopted, they will be euthanized on schedule 7 days after they arrive. This is nearly no time. This dog would make a wonderful addition to your home.

Sumter shelter is closed Thanksgiving Day and the Friday after.

Sumter County Animal Services is a kill shelter that gives its animals 7 days to be reclaimed, rescued, or adopted before they are euthanized. Please consider adopting to save a life. I am not affiliated with the shelter but am working to gain them exposure. Shelter hours are 9 am to 5 pm, Monday - Friday. Kennel hours are 11:30 to 5 but dog can be adopted with known ID number from 9 to 5.
