Whispering Pine K9 Affordable Dog Training, Daycare, Boarding & Grooming Whispering Pine K9 is a place you can trust to leave your pet with. Weekends are by appointment.

We are not your typical kennel taking in X number of dogs. Our primary goal is quality over quantity and to provide tailored care to a select number of dogs. WPK9 is privately owned and ran family business and we fully intend to remain that way. Our facility is situated in a low key family location to ensure low foot traffic and peaceful setting so if you have a high anxiety dog, they will be able

to enjoy peace and quiet without the city style rush. To ensure all dogs remain in a relaxed environment we offer structured pickup & drop off times Monday through Friday of either 7am or 6pm. Crating is not what we want to structure the pets day around therefore we appreciate your support of our pickup and drop off hours. All dogs entering the facility must show proof of current vaccinations and have a negative f***l within the last 12 months. We make no exceptions! We do out part to keep pets safe, and we require pet parents to do the same. Since care is tailored, males and females do not need to be spayed or neutered to enter to receive care at WPK9. Your pet will either enjoy top of the line kennel or suite options for eating, breaks and rest. Please feel free to browse around the page, read our reviews or even message the page to learn more about who we are, what we offer and so on. Thank you kindly,
Whispering Pine K9

Did you know? Dogs must be 24 months or older for OFA Hip and Elbow certification, and 12 months or older for Cardiac, Patellas, and Thyroid certification. There is no age minimum for eye certification, nor for DNA, since DNA does not change as the dog ages.

The OFA also does Preliminary evaluations on hips and elbows before 24 months of age. However, they will need to be re-evaluated again for a final certification once the dog reaches 24 months.

Individual breeds may have different minimum age requirements for their CHIC program, which is determined by their parent club.

And while a chubby dog might seem cute, it isn’t just a matter of extra pounds—it’s a health concern that could take years off of your pet's life.

A study by Nestlé Purina Petcare revealed that Labrador Retrievers fed 25% fewer calories than their free-fed littermates lived a full two years longer and developed chronic conditions like arthritis much later in their lives. That means more time for more memories made together. Read more here: https://bit.ly/3GdpQ1a

TODAY IS WORLD HEALTH DAY!!!!!! Are humans maintaining regular screenings and self-examinations for early detection? If humans neglect their own health, it not only affects their families but also has implications for their pets.

🛑 👇👇👇👇Read Below and Share. EARLY DETECTION CAN BE LIFE SAVING 🛑👇👇👇👇👇

Today on World Health Day, I want to take a moment to celebrate the resilience of the many breast cancer patients and survivors in our NBCF community. This day serves as a powerful reminder of the progress we've made to help and support one another.

There is so much hope! Thanks to advancements in early detection and treatment options, there are over 4 million breast cancer survivors currently living in the United States. But we know there is still much work to be done, and you inspire us today and every day in our mission to see that no one faces breast cancer alone.

One way we can aspire to this mission is to continue sharing the important message that early detection saves lives. In observance of World Health Day, we would be honored if you shared our most downloaded resource of all time, 3 Steps to Early Detection, with your friends, family, and loved ones.

Thank you for being part of our community as we work together to provide early detection services, breast health education, and meaningful support to all.
Sincerely,

Samantha Purser
National Breast Cancer Foundation

Our free guide, 3 Steps to Early Detection, provides potentially life-saving details about the early detection of breast cancer.

Say hello to Chisel. He's ready to find his forever home. Oh, and there's an adoption application and fee, because we want to make sure he's going to a good home.

About Chisel: he's AKC registered, 2 years old, male, and neutered. He's got a gastropexy under his belt, knows basic obedience, is off leash trained, muzzle trained and loves playing fetch, tug, and getting belly rubs. He's crate trained and travels well in a crate, because safety first. We're not sure how he gets along with other dogs, so it's best if he's the only dog in the house. If you're interested in Chisel, send us a direct message with details about yourself and your experience with Dobermans.

This isn't a first-come, first-served deal, because Chisel's safety and well-being come first. Thanks

BIRD FLU: Keep cats safe! Cats are very susceptible to H5N1, also known as bird or avian flu, but at this time the overall risk for exposure and infection is believed to be low. The virus has ravaged poultry farms, leading to the mass killing of over 150 million birds. Now, it's been detected in dairy cows, cats—even humans.

Signs of H5N1 infection in cats:
⛔ Respiratory problems like coughing, sneezing, nasal discharge, trouble breathing
⛔ Lethargy
⛔ Neurological disorders, such as disorientation or trouble walking
⛔ Sudden onset of severe disease or death without prior signs of illness or injury

Those that are more challenging to train, that need additional time to grasp new concepts, and that demand consistent energy and clarity. The art of dog training is akin to cultivating a fine wine; it necessitates patience, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence. The rewards of this approach are evident over time.
