First pictures are done of Akino & Mochi's babies. These chunky monkies are thriving! Aki has settled in so well with them and absolutely loves her babies. She is an excellent momma.
Anthony is the first baby born, he was the major road block and was a hard struggle to get out.
Benedict came out breach and was a little difficult getting that big head out.
Colin also came breach and while I still had to pull him, he was easier to get out than his brother.
Daphne was easy, she came head first in perfect position and Akino got her out herself.
I am so, so proud of Aki, it was such a hard and difficult labor but she never once screamed, panicked or tried to bite despite being a maiden. She just let me do what needed to be done and took everything in strides.

Sleep does not come easy for me these days, so I'm just watching Akino and grabbing a bite to eat. Her babies are doing wonderfully, she is drinking on a regular and has started eating. So much relief to see her up and doing well. She's settling into motherhood and is so gentle and tentative of her babies. 💕

Baby #4 is a darling girl born at 1:24. It was a hard labor for Aki as these are some big babies, but she did phenomenally and let us do what we needed to make sure she and babies survived. So, so proud of my girl and SOOOOO relieved she is okay and babies are all healthy and robust.

It has been a whirlwind of a day with a massive amount of overwhelming emotions, so I will take some time to settle in with my girl and decompress a bit from the past 3 days.

Baby #2 is another boy, born at 11:55. He came out breech but was a LOT easier to get out. Akino is doing such a good job delivering and taking it all in strides for these honking babies! Just 2 more babies to go!

The first baby is out! Your eyes are not deceiving you, he is PURPLE! He presented arms back, head down. I spent a LONG time working to get him in position and out. At 9:12 his sac popped. We FINALLY got him out at 10:25. He is a CHUNKY boy and BIG! I truly didn't think this boy was alive, by this point we kinda figured he was gone being so long in mommy after his sac popped and were simply just trying to get him out. While delivering him, after finally getting an arm out he moved and I gasped. She still has 3 more to go. 🤞

Akino's maternity pictures are done, she also has started the very early stages of labor, why she's early, I'm not sure. What I do know is these babies can be developed enough to make it. I have had pups born 6 days early and need no help from me. So I am keeping it together and keeping my hopes high that she and babies will do great.

Heartbreakingly, we lost Sego a few hours ago. I don't know how to process the emotions swarming me, so I'm just trying to be productive and catch up on things... Akino has been wanting to den, so the bed has been made up for her to begin settling in.
Bunnie is her happy, spunky self, eating her lunch in this picture, she was not bonded to the babies so thankfully, this has not affected her.

Happy 48 hour birthday Sego. I wanted more siblings to be here still to achieve this but sadly we lost Pearly almost an hour ago.

I won't lie, I broke down completely taking her out in a wash cloth to be buried. Each of the babies have passed from something different but each thing has been something that is common and major signs of being so premature. I'm holding on to hope that Sego can keep going, he just needs to make it to what would have been his birthday had Bunnie hung on to them to full term. The 26th seems so far away... Please, please keep this boy in your thoughts and prayers.

Sadly, just Sego & Pearly are left. Sweet little Aster passed about a half hour ago. My heart is broken but emotionally I am numb. We got devastating news on one of our senior dogs yesterday and between that, losing these babies and making sure Bunnie is healing correctly, my emotional state is blank at the moment.

I still grieve over this baby, I still have hope for these two babies, but it's hard to keep that flame strong when it starts to flicker. Sadly, there just isn't a lot to be done about these babies asode from everything I'm doing already. They fade so quickly and despite my best efforts, they aren't enough to stop the fade.

Rest sweet boy with your two brothers. Praying so fervently that neither Pearly or Sego will join them. 😔💔

An update on Bunnie, she is doing fantastic, she's resting a lot, taking it easy, eating, drinking and using the restroom normally.
She hasn't bonded with, but not entirely rejected her puppies. She does not want to lay with them or clean them. She does lick them (not in the typical momma cleaning her babies but just following her instincts to lick her puppies) and she does like to see them. But she doesn't show any interest when I take them out to clean or feed and spends most her time out of the mother bed.
As time goes on, we'll see if she remains wishy washy (she's a baby herself as this was an accidental litter, so I don't hold any of this as a "strike" against her for breeding when she's 2.) with her babies, fully accepts or fully rejects them. Whatever she decides is fine by me. They are my babies since I am full time hand rearing them. Her care and extra nutrient dense meals will continue to ensure her health and recovery are at their peak.

We sadly lost the blue/black tan marked boy. He aspirated on some milk he spit up. He was not digesting it very well and was also the most preemie looking baby with no hair at all on his head or legs and a very fine peach fuzz on his body. It is heart breaking but sadly, not totally unexpected. 💔😔

Our sweet Bunnie made it through, thank god! The 3rd born baby was born sleeping unfortunately but the other 4 babies made it. They are premature, no sucking reflexes at all so I will be tube feeding them every hour around the clock and hanging on to hope and a prayer that these babies make it.
If you message me or ask me for something, don't be shocked/surprised when I don't get back to you for a while. I will be taking naps here and there when I can grab one. I'm exhausted already and have a very long week ahead of me. It will be touch and go with these guys, waitlist is CLOSED until I know these babies will make it.
Weights are:
White male: 2.2 oz
White female: 2.3 oz
Blue tuxedo tan marked: 2.4 oz
Gold parti: 3.2 oz
These guys are TINY, like my thumb is nearly as big as they are, quite literally as tiny as a mouse.

We are at the emergency vets with sweet Bunnie. She has a sac out and is in labor, far too early. We don't know if any of the puppies will make it. Her labor has not progressed so my vet met me at her emergency clinic where we will very likely be proceeding with an emergency c-section. Please keep our sweet girl in your prayers!

We are at the vets with 3 of Salem's babies (King, Dutchess & Queenie) and 2 of Shasta's babies (Marzipan & Souffle). The other babies are too small still for 1st vaccines.
We also have Akino & Bunnie for their pregnancy x-rays. Sadlly you'll notice Sera is not with them. She unfortunately did not take this time so no babies for her but we'll try again her next heat cycle. I'll post x-rays and maternity pictures of Akino and Bunnie likely tomorrow with how many they are expecting.

7 week pictures are done of Shasta × Beau babies! Pick will be happening for these babies this week, at least 1 girl will not be spoken for. I can't believe they are this old already, it feels like they are still only a few weeks old! Pups go to the vets today for 1st vaccines and health check.

I know I am behind on updates, it's been very busy here. Akino & Bunnie are confirmed pregnant and have been showing for about 2 weeks now. They go in on the 14th for their pregnancy x-rays to see how many babies they'll each be having. I am both excited and so very nervous to greet their little ones. First time mommies always make me worry during delivery.

Is this not just THE cutest line up of puppies ever?! 🥺🥰 Those darling little faces! Pick of Salem's litter will officially happen this week. (Countess, Queenie, Dutchess, King & Sawyer [formerly prince].) Shasta's babies will officially be picked next week. (Souffle, Marzipan, Eclair & Praline.) I will then know by next weekend (the 17th) what babies will be looking for their forever homes.

Our resident kitty Miss Charlotte got a bath and tidy up today. 🥰 Every so often she gets matting on her lower back and upper thighs from stuck shed. So a good deshed and a good bath and she's good to go for another 6 months or so. 💕

I realize I forgot to make a post about Brutus. He is home, after a day of observation and subcutaneous fluids on Monday he was able to come home that night and has been doing amazing ever since! 🥰 I'm so happy to have my happy boy back home. 💕 At this point Brutus is healing and we are just waiting on the results of what his kidney stones are and depending on the type will depend on if we can control them by diet or not.

Well, sadly Brutus being home with us lasted a night. 💔 Sweet boy is not able to potty again and no appetite so the vets let me drop him off so they can take care of him while I got Willow and Skyler up to the airport. My sweet boy, praying we can get this solved quickly for him.

My Penelope and her beautiful babies. These guys have so much hope and fears that came with them. After Kiku's babies fading one by one on us, I had so much worry going into this litter. Nellie gave us a bleed scare during labor and sleep was non-existent for me for the first nearly week of their life. They are thriving, Nellie is doing amazing and the amazing momma she always is. I couldn't ask for a more beautiful, perfect litter. There is so much hope and excitement blossoming to watch these babies grow and mature.

Love seeing my babies settle in so quickly to their new homes. 🥰

A video update of the babies. It's been a rough week here but we're getting through it, life has to continue and these 15 babies aren't waiting for me to catch up. They definitely keep me busy in a good way and have a way of healing the heart. 💕 Everyone is doing so well. 🥰
