I took in this Sweet little guy about 2 weeks ago to help out Stoneham ACO. He was found on the Melrose/Stoneham line.
He was INFESTED with fleas, so I gave him a flea bath, washed him with Dawn Dish soap, that stuff works amazing, is safe.
(it also works for skunk smell too btw)
I ended up shaving him down a little to try to get all the fleas off, they were stuck in his fur. He is off to Sweet Paws Rescue to get fixed and shots and find his furever home What a little cutie, I am always happy to help! You could tell He felt much better after that bath!

Update on Turbo! (Video 2)
Thank you to the few that have donated to help get this guy his bloodwork, Rabies, and neuter done! He got his microchip, distemper, kennel cough and flea/tick and Heartworm prevention also! He's ready for adoption! He's been transferred to Sweet Paws Rescue from Everett Animal Control. I have been fostering him since he was abandoned near Target in Everett.
So far, he has been amazing with everyone he meets! We introduced him to some dogs today! He has been amazing! He's so playful and is really enjoying being out of the kennel and making new friends! I am so proud of him and I'm so relieved he's proving to be a good boy....I really wasn't sure how he was going to be...he just keeps making me smile and he is doing all the right things with my evaluations. I'm more and more happy for him each day! He's really such a good boy! I trust him more now than I did last week! He knows his basic commands, but he needs some work on the leash. He LOVES treats and food to help motivate him and do extra training.

So this was actually from yesterday afternoon, I forgot to post it bc I got so busy!
Meet Turbo! I'm guessing he is about 2 years old, (I thought 1 but after looking at his teeth in the vet I'm gonna say probably 2), he's 64lbs, needs to gain a few more pounds, so he will probably be about 70ish lbs when he's at a perfect weight. He likes his crate. He was abandoned over a week ago. I have been getting to know him, I have been evaluating him, and I'm finding that he was definitely trained by someone. He knows, sit, paw, and lay down. He is very insecure when he is in a crate or behind a fence, he barks at anyone. He loves treats and food, I wouldn’t trust him around other dogs with food. He eats so fast, I feed him with a slow feeder so he doesn't get bloat or twist his stomach. I can give him his bowl of food and take it out. He has never growled or shown any aggression with me. When I first met him, he sorta did a little growl and a few barks, but once I took him on the leash, he was just fine. He definitely trusts me and respects me and is affectionate, as you can see. He barked at my male employee for the first few days. After a few treats and talking nicely, he stopped barking at him, and now he loves him. He definitely needs a little training on the leash, I think with a prong collar, he will walk perfectly. Prong collars are not bad as long as you use it properly, and I can show you. He just pulls and is very strong. He got his rabies yesterday and bloodwork. His bloodwork shows he is healthy. He gets neutered today. He was a very good boy at the vet meeting the vet techs and the vet, I was pleasantly surprised and very happy to see him react well with meeting new people. No barking or growling, he was very excited to get treats and positive attention! After a week, when he is recovered from surgery, I will introduce him to the other dogs. He is up to date on his distemper and kennel cough and is chipped.

I just got a cute little Pit 11 days ago. She's about 35-40 lbs, I don't think she will get much bigger! She's super friendly, playful, and crate trained. She needs to get spayed and get her skin checked, (i think it's just allergies). She will be adopted out by Sweet Paws Rescue when she is ready to find her furever home!
