Update on Lulu and what seems like just another night at our place.

After going into labor she had 2 healthy puppies on her own between 12 am and 3 am. Finally after being stuck up until 4:30 she had #3 who sadly did not make it. Then on the way out the door to the vet she dropped #4 on the sidewalk, who is ok. After a quick clean up and shuffling him into the incubator we ran to the vet for the c-section. Dr. Gaddy did what she always does best for us and delivered 3 more healthy puppies for a total of 6 healthy babies. Dr. Gaddy also spayed Miss Lulu, for this was Lulu’s last litter before retirement. Thank you Dr. Gaddy and Miss Terry for working us in. And a shout out and thank you to Dr. Wright who stepped in to help sling puppies . We appreciate all you guys at Brown Creek Veterinary Hospital and thank you for doing what you do.

We were hoping to make to the vet in the morning but Lulu’s progesterone level took a big drop around midnight. Looks like it’s going to be along night, going mother natures route. Got the opportunity to copilot this gem from Monroe to Greensboro today. Just a short 17 minute flight. Then got another opertunity to fly a Cirrus back. Both of which will spoil you…Thanks Wess and Arrowood for the opportunity….

Our Bulldogs had a good season. The boys learned a lot and had a blast doing so. I’m pretty sure that the coaches did as well. Thanks to all the boys for coming out and representing Burr’s Bullies and a big thank you to the coaches who take the time out of there busy days to help these boys grow up one game at a time….
