We know a lot of our clients have heard about this Mystery Respiratory Illness that’s coming out of Oregon. This is what we know so far about it:

This illness is unknown currently however, symptoms include upper respiratory and an unresolved cough. The illness is spread through aerosolized droplets from coughing and or sneezing. According to Oregon Department of Agriculture Patients are testing negative for common respiratory complexes.

Here at the salon:

Our staff always makes sure to fully clean and disinfect equipment and dog beds before the next grooming appointment arrives. With our salon being by appointment only, we typically never have more than two to three dogs here at one time. If you feel the need to walk your pet around outside before their appointment, we just ask that you please keep your distance from others who may be walking as well.

All pets that enter this building are current on Rabies, Distemper, Bordetella and Canine Influenza vaccines. That is a strict policy that we adhere to.

Should your pet be experiencing any upper respiratory distress prior to your appointment or if you are nervous about having your dog in the same building as another dog, we ask that you call and reschedule your appointment with us.

We will keep you apprised as we know more.

My very talented friend, Debbie Messick Cooper , made this and I purchased it for the salon in honor and dedication to the pets we have lost over the last 20 years to the rainbow bridge. We love it! We are currently SOLD OUT of all bathing and grooming appointments through the end of the year. We are working from a wait list only and you must call the salon to get added to that wait list if you don't already have an appointment.

We are now booking the third week of January 2024 forward.

Dear Valued Clients,

Due to the continuing rise of Covid cases in the area we have made the decision for the safety of our staff and you our valued clients that we will temporarily go back to side door drop off and pick up for all grooming appointments. Therefore, the front door will remain closed to all customers until further notice.

Upon arrival, please drive up under the car port and either call us at 770-486-8746 or ring the side entrance doorbell and we will come out to get your pet for you. The same will apply for picking your pet up.

For obvious safety reasons we will be wearing a protective mask and ask that you do the same for the safety of everyone involved.

Meet Shelby. She is a 13 year old Lab. Her mom has serious medical conditions and is unfortunately not able to take care of her any longer.

Her mother has arranged through her attorney and Flat Creek Vet that she will pay her future vet bills (with the concept that she is an older dog who will incur bills.).
