Located in Beautiful Hawaii, ManeStreet is a small hobby kennel. My goal is to breed beautiful, healthy Australian Shepherds that excel in all avenues (conformation, obedience, agility, rally and, of course, on the couch) and easy to live with personalities. I acquired my first show dog, a Toy Poodle, in 1989, and I competed successfully with several dogs for years before pursuing other interests.

Sadee was a gift from my daughter and was my first Australian Shepherd. Although Sadee is not show quality, she is a bright light, which made me fall head over heels in love with the breed. I have been blessed with the opportunity to meet and develop friendships with fellow Aussie lovers from around the world. I would like to thank some of the wonderful breeders who have helped me along the way. Thanks to Lily Bhalang (Aumoehoku) for trusting me with Hershey; a beautiful, balanced and sound Aussie. Kerry Kirtley (Wyndstar) for all of her trust, love, and continual support. Kerry has blessed me with several outstanding Australian Shepherds. Kelly Sweeney (Stormridge) and Sue Holtz (Akilah) for trusting me with their breeding programs and friendships. Jennifer Hampton (Happy Trails) for always offering me support and encouragement. Finally, Marc Kelly (Kelly Aussies) for doing so many wonderful things for me: expert presentation and training of my dogs, picking me up at the airport and getting kicked out of a garden (trying to get that perfect picture).

I set this kennel in the back of my pickup for 15 minutes. Temperature outside is 89 degrees. Digital temperature gauge inside kennel was 104 degrees at end of 15 minutes. We pulled a large dog from this kennel in the back of a pickup ...body temp was 104.3 degrees! Please educate through sharing this.
