Just placed an order with for my summer crop of mushrooms. Which ones have you tried and which ones are you interested in?

Personally, I enjoy attempting to grow new varieties. This years new variety for me is Branched and PoHu oyster mushrooms. You'd think by looking at them they would have the same texture and taste, but you'd be wrong. Each mushroom is wildly different when it comes to taste and texture and I'm looking at discovering these two new ones.

I'll be making grow kits too!

There will be vendors selling plant starters at Old Pearland Farmers Market, and a great way to support healthy plant growth is to mix in our Garden Gold mushroom compost.

We compost our gourmet mushroom substrate after mushrooms are harvested and let mother nature do her thing before bagging it up for your garden.

A little goes a long way. We recommend 1 part Garden Gold to 5 parts soil.

Just finished bagging what may be the last batch of BBQ jerky until spring. This jerky is made specifically with Golden Oysters, because of the taste this mushroom imparts pairs perfect with BBQ flavors.

Just got this carbon filter and water softener installed to help with the calcium build-up in my steam sterilizer.

Having the float valve stick open while I'm out at a market can only happen once. I got lucky someone was here to see it and shut it off before there was damage. I doubt I get lucky twice.

I could use some help.

My tent struggles to stay cold enough for production during the summer months and I would like to resolve this by next summer. You affordable suggestions are welcomed.

Currently, I have a 15k BTU window air conditioner controlled by an Inkbird temperature controller. The cold air is ducred into my tent and hot air is evacuated through the roof. The main issue is the tent does not retain the cold air for very long and I think that's where my efforts would be best focused.

I've looked into a walk in freezer kit, but the $10k price tag has me looking for more affordable solutions. Additionally, those kits aren't designed for high humidity environments that also purge the internal air based on fast CO2 build up generated by the mushrooms as they grow.

I'd love for some affordable suggestions I can pursue.

I've come to appreciate clean air more than ever thanks to mushroom farming. My latest bulwark against airborne particulate is this monster air scrubber designed by the after watching his research and designs on YouTube.

I've been researching how to build the best Corsi-Rosenthal filter box for years, and before I was about to build my own, I was lucky enough to find this. It's exactly how I planned to build mine, but better. After assembling this one, I can confidently say this is a well-made kit and expect to have it for at least 10 years.

No more buying proprietary filters that don't work as well as I was lead to believe. Now, I can go to the hardware store and pick up any 20"x30"x1" filter for a fraction of the cost and multiple times the effectiveness.

This thing pulls or pushes 2300 cubic feet per minute of air through Merv 13 filters. At full speed, it's about as loud as a box fan at full speed.

10/10 I would recommend. I may buy another in the future.

NO MARKETS THIS WEEKEND! I really wanted to be at this Saturday and still encourage you to go. You'll have fun.

That empty box is not only one of my jerky boxes, but it's also indicative of my overall inventory. Which is to say, SOLD OUT! Thank you all! I have a few packs of Lion's Mane and Reishi powders/capsules, and that's all.

I thought the August heat was going to beat me this year. Instead, it was the overwhelming support. It gets me right in the feels. Thank you.

Now, to figure out how to, once again, expand my operation.
