Meet Taylor!

Taylor is a 5-year-old, 7-pound Yorkie with a tender and timid demeanor. Having come from a breeder release, she is very shy and cautious around new people but has never shown any signs of being nippy. Taylor needs a calm, patient home where she can feel safe and loved as she builds trust. Due to her sensitive nature, a household without young children would be ideal.

Taylor is crate trained and gets along well with both cats and other dogs, making her a wonderful companion in a peaceful, multi-pet household. She is slowly getting more comfortable with going outside for bathroom breaks but still relies on p*e pads indoors as she continues her transition. One of her favorite activities is relaxing on the couch, often burrowed under a cozy blanket where she feels secure.

Dedee gets along well with other dogs and is perfectly fine around cats, making her a wonderful addition to a home with other calm pets. Hi, I’m Moxie! Some people call me a “land hippo,” but I like to think of myself as 65 pounds of pure love and fun.

I’m a 2-year-old pittie mix with a big heart and a beefy build to match. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who also loves to play, I’m your girl!

I’ve never met a stranger I didn’t like! I’m friendly, outgoing, and always up for a good cuddle session. I love being close to my humans, whether it’s snuggling on the couch or following you around the house. I’m also great with kids! I’m currently living with little ones aged 2-12, and I adore them all.

Playtime is one of my favorite things! Whether it’s running around with toys or going for walks, I’ve got some energy to burn and love adventures. I’m still working on my leash manners because, honestly, I just get so excited to explore. But I’m getting better every day.

I get along well with other dogs and have made lots of friends. I’m a confident, sometimes dominant gal, so I’d do best with a more easygoing dog who doesn’t mind my big personality. I’m a 1-year-old terrier mix, weighing in at 15 pounds, which makes me the perfect size for snuggling on the couch or following you wherever you go.

I’ll admit, I’m a little shy when meeting new people. Big first impressions make me a little nervous, so I prefer a slow introduction with plenty of space to feel safe. And if I’m being honest, I’d do best in a calm, low-traffic home without a lot of visitors. But once I know you’re my kind of human, my love and loyalty come quickly, just ask my foster mom! Within an hour, I was her shadow, following her around like we’d been best friends forever.

I get along well with other dogs, big and small. I’m not the playful type just yet, but I’m polite and friendly, and I don’t mind sharing my space. Cats, on the other hand, fascinate me. I’ve been known to bark at them, but I’ve never harmed one, so if you’ve got a confident cat who doesn’t mind a curious canine, we might be able to work things out.

Hi, I’m Sarge—a 6-month-old Bluetick Coonhound mix with a heart as big as my floppy ears! Right now, I weigh about 35–40 pounds, but when I’m all grown up I’ll likely be around 70 pounds. I’m a happy, playful guy who’s already here in New Hampshire, just waiting to meet my forever family!

My journey started in a kill shelter down south, but now I’m embracing this exciting new chapter of life. I absolutely love meeting new people and making doggy friends. I’d really enjoy having a furry sibling to play with since I’m a gentle, submissive boy who gets along great with every pup I’ve met. While I haven’t been introduced to cats yet, my calm and easygoing personality makes me think we’d get along just fine.

Sadly, I came from a large breeder release, so I’m still learning that humans can be kind & that dogs are meant to be part of the family. At first, I can be a little shy & a little nervous because I wasn’t shown much love or socialization before. This is all very new to me, but once I feel safe and get some cuddles, I’ll warm up quickly. I’m still very young and will erase my past from my mind, I just need a family to show me the way!

I’m starting to learn that the world is a good place, and I’m excited to keep growing in a loving, patient home. I would really thrive with a family who can show me the ropes, give me some time, and help me feel safe & secure.
I do great with other dogs & would love a furry sibling to keep me company. I’m also fine with cats. They might scare some pups my size, but not me!

I am a Yorkie and 8 years old! I may be just 6 little lbs, but I’ve got a BIG heart full of love & dreams that my forever family is looking for me. Life hasn’t always been easy, I had a family for my first five years, but then they gave me away to a breeder. I worked hard to please them, but I missed my family and did not like this new life. I didn’t think anyone was coming to save me and then one day it happened! These gentle hands scooped me up & a kind voice said you are safe now!

I’m a sweet, snuggly little guy who loves attention once I feel safe with you. It might take me a minute to warm up, but trust me, it’s worth the wait! I do great with other dogs & even cats too! My foster mum says I have a very chill vibe. I don’t know what that means but I love hearing her tell me things.

I sleep peacefully in my crate at night, if that’s what you prefer & am doing well with house training. If you take me out regularly, I’ll happily do my business outside, but I can also use a p*e pad if needed. I really just want to please you & promise I will try so hard, just tell me what I need to do!

For the first six years of my life, I worked hard as a mama, but now it’s finally my turn to find a family who’ll love me for me & not just my babies!. I’m a tiny little lady - just 5 pounds of fluff and sweetness, but I have a heart that’s absolutely bursting with love. I am a 6 year old Maltese.

I’ll admit, I’m a bit shy when we first meet. I mean, who wouldn’t be when you’ve spent your entire life in a cage, pregnant, watching your puppies leave over & over for years. I haven’t had much experience with cuddles or playtime before now, so I’m learning what it feels like to be truly loved. Once I get comfortable with you, though, I’m a certified lovebug who adores being pet and held.

I get along wonderfully with other dogs and even cats - making new friends is easy for me! I’m also doing well with using the doggy door, going potty outside, and even using p*e pads when needed. Hi there, humans. It’s us Kenai, Sarge, and Heidi. We don’t usually get to write things like this, but we’re hoping if we tell you how we feel, maybe someone will want to adopt us!

We’re three dogs currently in New Hampshire, and we’ve been waiting a long time for someone to notice us. It’s been so quiet, sadly no families are asking about us and we just don’t know why.

Here is a little reminder about just how great we truly are.

Kenia: I am 3 years old and 70 pounds of quiet love. I get along great with dogs and even cats. I don’t bark much which I am sure families will love. I’ve got a gentle soul, and I’d love to spend my days at someone’s feet, just being near them. I just want someone to call me theirs.

Sarge: I’m a 6-month-old Bluetick Coonhound mix weighing 40 pounds. Everyone says I’m smart so I don’t need much work. I walk great on a leash and would love to have a dog sibling to play with. I’m a sweet but scared, lovable boy who has been through a lot yet still has a huge heart. A tweanie dachshund weighing 16 pounds, I was born on 1/5/24 and came from a big breeder release. I’m looking for a calm, quiet home with adopters who can give me the time I need to feel safe and loved. A fenced yard would be amazing for me because running is my favorite, second only to snuggling with my humans on the couch. I haven’t had any accidents in my crate and am have been perfect with going outside for bathroom breaks.

Meet Max!

Max is a 1-year-old Plott Hound mix with a stunning brindle coat and an even more beautiful personality. Weighing in at 55 pounds, Max is a sweet, submissive boy who gets along with everyone he meets. Cats, dogs, kids, or adults—you name it, and Max will charm them all! He loves playing with other dogs and has a naturally gentle demeanor, never being dominant. Whether he’s making new friends or hanging out with his family, Max’s easygoing nature shines through.

Meet Kenai!

This 3-year-old, 70-pound Border Collie mix is as loyal & loving as they come! His foster family affectionately calls him “Velcro” because of how deeply he bonds with his humans. He's the perfect shadow dog and an amazing companion. He’s patiently waiting right here in New Hampshire for his forever family to find him!

Kenai gets along beautifully with other dogs, cats, horses, and even ducks! He’s kennel, leash, and house-trained, though he prefers a roomy XL kennel for a little extra comfort. Outside, he loves to romp around, roll on the ground for a good back scratch, and show off his adorable zoomies. He’s a gentle, quiet boy who rarely barks but can’t hide the funniest little butt wiggles when he’s excited.

This resilient pup has been through a lot. He came to us with old wounds and a leg that healed uniquely, giving him a special way of moving, but don’t worry, his quirky run doesn’t slow him down one bit! He’s healthy, happy, and ready to share his big smile and even bigger heart with a dedicated, forever family. Please note, Kenai takes a few moments to warm up to people and needs to meet new people slowly and respectfully to fully feel comfortable with them! He has been through a lot and just needs a slow and steady pace. He loves his home and will protect his people. He loves hard!

Kenai loves car rides (especially with a cozy blanket) and has excellent leash manners, recall, and patience. He doesn’t jump but loves to stay close & soak up all the love he can get. He’d thrive in a home with a yard to run in & maybe a doggy friend (or 2) to play or relax with. Given the condition he came to us in, we are looking for an extra special family willing to give this love the life he so very much deserves! A family who will take him on vacations, allow him to share couch space, remind him how beautiful & loved he is, & love his little quirks like we do.
