Hi there, I'm Fluffy! I get my name for my fluffy hair that all the other dogs are jealous of!

I'm a one-year-old Golden Retriever mix, weighing in at around 45-50 pounds. My life started off a bit rough sadly, my first family left me behind when they moved away. It was really confusing and scary, but I’ve been staying with a foster mom who’s been super kind to me.

I’m a really sweet guy, but I can be a bit shy when meeting new people. I just need a little time to get to know you and trust you. Once I do, I promise I’ll be your most loyal friend. I also live with a 2-year-old in my foster home, and we get along great! I’m gentle and patient with little ones.

I absolutely love being around other dogs! We play all day and it’s some of my favorite times! Having a confident, happy dog in my forever home would be awesome too! I think I’d do best with a buddy who can show me the ropes and help me feel at ease. As for cats, I haven’t met any yet, so I’m not sure how I’d do around them. But if we have slow introductions we may be ok!

I’m crate trained and house trained, and I do well when I’m on a schedule. Car rides still make me a little nervous which I know some dogs love. I am working on it though and hopefully I will figure out car rides mean fun times for me!

What I really need is a loving and patient home where I can go on adventures and build my confidence at my own pace. Hi! I’m Tess, an 11-week-old pit/Great Pyrenees mix with a lot of love and energy to share. I’m currently a petite 15 pounds, but don’t let that fool you—I’m going to grow into a big, beautiful dog, likely around 60 pounds when I’m all grown up! Unfortunately I was surrendered locally by a family that didn’t have enough time for me but that means I’m here in NH ready to meet my furever family!

I’m all about playtime! Whether it’s romping around with other dogs or trying to get the cats to join in, I’m always up for some fun. I’m a social pup and I’d love a home where I can have furry friends to play with. I could also be your one and only but be ready to play!

I’m already crate trained, which means I’m great at settling down when it’s time to rest! As for house training, I’m making good progress, but I’m still a work in progress—my forever family will need to keep helping me learn where to go. Leash walking is another skill I’m picking up quickly. I’m getting better at it every day, and I really enjoy our little walks together. Oh, and I already know how to sit! I’m a quick learner and eager to please, so I know with some patience and love I’ll continue to pick up new commands and tricks!

Hi there! I'm Weezy, a sweet 6-month-old lab mix bursting with joy and love! Right now, I'm around 35 pounds and when I’m all grown up I'll be around 50/60 pounds. I can't wait to tell you a bit about myself!

I absolutely adore everyone and everything I meet. People, other dogs -you name it-I can't get enough of making new friends! My foster family says I'm always the life of the party, bringing smiles and laughter wherever I go.

People always comment on the little white arrow on my head—it’s my unique feature, and I love the attention it gets me. At 45-50 pounds, I’m just the right size for cuddles and walks, and I won’t be getting much bigger!

I’m really good with people and other dogs, and I get along with everyone I meet! Hi, I’m Hal!

I’m a 12-week-old Otterhound, and I’m already a big guy at 30 pounds. I’m going to be a gentle giant when I grow up—around 100 pounds! One of my coolest features is my webbed feet, which make me a natural water lover. I can’t resist splashing around! My foster mom calls me a “big goofy guy” who everyone just loves, she seems to say that every time she catches me playing in the water dish!

I’m crate trained and doing great with my house training. I get along fabulously with other dogs, and I’m always ready for a playdate. I think having a fur sibling in my furever home would be awesome! I’ve been told I have an outgoing personality, and I love everyone I meet, especially kids. Hi, I’m Jax!

I’m a 2-year-old, 50-pound Shepherd mix, and I’ve been told I’m “the very best boy”—and who am I to argue with that? I’m house trained, crate trained, and I know how to sit like a champ. I’m pretty smart, if I do say so myself! I also really enjoy learning so I know I can be the smartest pup around! I promise to make an awesome companion and a loyal one too!

I absolutely love food and am super motivated by treats, so teaching me new tricks is a breeze. But my favorite thing in the world is being with my people. I’m the perfect pup and I just know I’m going to make an awesome family dog. Hi there, I'm Gravy!

I’m a 60-pound Mastiff mix with a few charming wrinkles on my face—just a touch of that distinguished Mastiff lineage shining through. At 6 to 7 months old, I'm still a puppy at heart and absolutely love to run, play, and fetch. In fact, fetching is one of my favorite games, and I'm always ready for a good chase!

I'm a confident guy with lots of energy, so I’d love a home with a young, playful dog who can keep up with me, or a more confident and experienced dog who can show me the ropes. I’m good with cats too, so if you’ve got a feline friend, I’m sure we’ll get along just fine.

Now, I’ll admit, I’m still learning some things. Like, I’m almost potty-trained but not quite there yet. I’m also working on my leash skills—it’s all new to me, but I’m eager to learn! Meet Mommas!

This lovely little lady is the life of the party and so very energetic and ready to explore the world! She is a 9-10 month old terrier mix that weighs about 15 pounds! She is basically full grown but may gain a few more pounds. Shes the perfect size for a travel companion and ready to go with you on any adventure!

Mommas got her name because unfortunately she came into the rescue pregnant. We believe she got pregnant during her first heat so sadly she was just a puppy herself. That’s okay, she’s been a great mom but now she’s very ready to find a family of her own and get to actually be a puppy! She deserves that!

Mommas is great with other dogs and is very playful. She would thrive having a fur member to her family. A playful and out going one would be great to match her personality! Meet Bailey & Brian!

How stinkin cute are these two siblings! They are terrier mixes of some sort we believe! Truthfully we do not know exactly what they are. Their momma who also got surrendered is about 15ish pounds and she is only about 10 months old. Shes still a baby herself, sadly she had to be a mom right after her first heat. But now these two babies are looking for their furever homes as well! Currently they’re about 5 pounds and full grown we expect them to be around 20-25 pounds. They’re 10 weeks old!

Bailey and Brian have the best temperaments! They love everyone and everything. They’re very socialized and happy babies. They would thrive having another fur sibling in their furever home, they enjoy playing with all the dogs they have met so far. They even do well with cats too! They’ve met little kids to big humans and they give the best puppy kisses ever! Such happy go lucky babies that are going to make the best family members.

Oh how do we love seniors here at LFAR!

Meet Charlie!

At 12 years old he was recently surrendered by a breeder. He is a senior Yorkshire terrier. As you can see he only has one eye, we’re not sure what happened but the eye has been removed and he is not in any pain! He also has no teeth, so you see his little tongue come out all the time. We think it’s the absolute cutest thing ever! He’s only about 10 pounds so he’s a small guy.

Charlie is incredibly sweet and just needs a home to retire in. He promises to be such a good companion and very loyal! All this boy needs is a comfy dog bed and a couch to lay down on. Maybe some doggy stairs too to help him get up on the bed or couch!

He is neutered and caught up to date with vaccines. He will also get his health certificate prior to adoption. Charlie’s foster mom has been working hard on crate training since he’s used to a kennel, he’s doing a great job with it. She tends to put a belly band on him through out the house at first until he’s adjusted.

Meet Lilly, Larson, Loki & Luka!

These 4 siblings are the cutest babes with the most adorable markings. At 10 weeks old and only about 3 pounds currently we expect them to be around 15 pounds full grown. They are miniature Aussies mixed with schnauzer. Both mom and dad were known in this litter as they were surrendered by a family who had an accidental litter! Luckily mom is getting spayed in just a couple short weeks so this will never happen again!

All 4 of these kids are such little gems. They’re as sweet as can be and love everyone that they encounter. Although initially shy those puppy kisses come out quite quickly when you give them some affection. They would make wonderful family members to any home. Since they’re babies they easily adjust to new environments but we know they would love to have a fur sibling in their furever home! They seem to pick up a little more when around friends! They even do well with cats!

Meet Amy!

This adorable little gal was a recent breeder release pup. She is a 3 year old bichon that weighs about 10 pounds! Shes a small adult southern bell that’s looking for her furever home here in New England. We want her future to be incredibly bright since her past was not the best.

Amy does incredibly well with other dogs. Big or small, young or old she does great with them all. In fact we think she may even adjust better if there was another pup in her furever. She does well with cats and easily could fit into any home with other animals. She’s a very easy going pup when it comes to that.

She has the absolute sweetest eyes and look to her. She wants to be your best friend and is already so loyal when meeting new people. Sometimes she can be a little shy right off the bat, but that quickly changes and she makes friends easily. She really loves as much attention as she can get, who can blame her!

Meet Igor, a 19 month old Terrier mix who is currently around 40 pounds and full grown. This sweet boy is a bit shy at first and needs some time to warm up to his new family. His timid nature means he needs to build trust gradually, but rest assured, he is not aggressive. If he feels too scared, he might hide, but with patience and understanding, Igor will soon reveal his true loving nature. Whatever his past may be, we know he deserves a good future and to know what love and kindness is. He’s here in NH and waiting for the right family!

Once Igor gets comfortable, he transforms into the sweetest and most loyal dog you could ever meet. He adores his family and his dog friends, showing his affection and loyalty in the most heartwarming ways. Igor thrives in a home with another confident and well-behaved dog, as he looks to them for guidance and support. His love for other dogs extends to cats as well, making him a versatile and friendly companion in a multi-pet household. We are requiring that he goes into a home with another dog, he needs his k9 friends!

Igor is house trained and crate trained, sleeping peacefully in his crate every night. During the day, he proves to be an excellent work companion, happily lounging on a dog bed. He never gets into anything he’s not supposed too and is well mannered! He is learning to walk well on a leash, preferring a slow and steady pace. Igor's fantastic temperament makes watching him flourish an amazing experience. He longs for a human family and just needs a patient and loving adopter to help him continue his journey to becoming the best dog he can be.

Meet Trucker, a lively and affectionate 4 month old Belgian Malinois mix. Currently weighing 15 pounds, Trucker is expected to grow to around 50 pounds. He's a social butterfly, getting along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and even making friends with cats. Trucker adores people and enjoys getting attention and cuddles, though he also loves being active and exploring the outdoors. He is going to make a fantastic adventure partner as he is always ready to go with humans!

Smart and eager to please, Trucker would excel in training and obedience classes. He has a head start on socialization, as he accompanies his foster mom to work at a vet clinic, meeting many different people and dogs. He's also making good progress with house and crate training. He wants to make his humans happy and he very much enjoys learning new things and being a brave pup!

Meet precious Amber!

Amber is a 3 year old Mini Goldendoodle who weighs about 25/30 pounds. Tragically, she was surrendered from a breeder who never cared about her or showed her any love. Due to this lack of socialization, Amber is fearful around new people and takes a little time to get comfortable and warm up. Despite her initial shyness, Amber is incredibly sweet and longs for a patient family who can help her feel safe and loved. Show her how to be a dog and live a good life.

Amber's ideal home would not include young children, as fast movements can scare her. However, she thrives in the company of other dogs, who help her feel more secure, and she is also good with cats. A fenced yard is preferred to allow her a safe space to explore, though she is also learning how to walk on a leash.

Amber is crate trained, finding her crate to be a safe haven where she can relax. She is still working on house training as she adapts to living in a home environment, making progress each day. Her future family will need to continue this training with patience and consistency. We know with time Amber will become an amazing family member. She just needs to build trust and love for her new humans and home.

Amber is spayed and up to date on all her vaccines, and she will receive her NH health certificate. Darwins Adventures! Please SHARE, SHARE, SHARE 🐶🐾🖤 Sweet Darwin continues to excel in his socialization!!! Not only did his foster mom puppy sit a previous foster of hers Darwin made a playmate and new friend!!🐾 His pomski friend is a bit of a Diva but he worked his cute play bow puppy magic and she came around! It’s hard to resist Darwins charm and Walrus kisses. Once his new furever friend went home Darwin seemed sad and was looking for her. Socialization is so important for puppies and dogs. It teaches them proper etiquette around other dogs and helps stimulate and tire them. Foster mom decided he needed a play date to make new friends to cheer him up! So off to Daycare with K-9 training in Plaistow. Darwin did phenomenal with his play group and added new friends and play buddies! When it was time to go home the staff stated “ I love Darwin he’s so sweet and calm”. Darwins foster mom is beaming with joy… this sweet boy is growing up and all thats left is to be married with his furever!! ❗️AMIRA UPDATE❗️ SHE IS EATING ON HER OWN!! 🥹🥹 We are so beyond proud of this girl, she was able to go home to her foster mom last night! She is still on a lot of antibiotics and she needs around the clock care but she’s out of the hospital and in a comfy bed with lots of blankets. This morning she ate all on her own, this is HUGE! She needs to build up strength to heal and get better. Sadly… she will need to go back to the hospital and get one of her eyes removed. The left eye has a lot of damage done to it and is infected badly. Easiest course of action for her and so she is not in pain is to remove that eye once she is strong enough to go under anesthesia again. This poor puppy has been through so very much in her short life. We are incredibly sad for her. She will come out of this with only one eye and 3 legs. But it won’t matter because we will shower her with love and affection! AMIRA STRONG! ❤️❤️ ANY amount will help, we appreciate you!!!
