Did you know that we’re a small, family-run business?

We (Ethan and Marah) started this business two years ago after several years of dog training and guiding uplands hunts for fun.

Our son, Leif, was 6 months old when we laid the ground work to officially open our kennel. Now, at 2 years old, he helps train and feed dogs - and he’s good at it too!

We get so much joy seeing your dogs’ “lightbulb moments” in their training. Ethan has trained his own pointing and flushing dogs for years now, and has a passion for doing the same for others.

Did you know we use positive training tactics? 👏🏽

To begin training, we combine the use of gentle leads and check cords with treats and positive feedback.

As they advance in training, we use the e-collars for safety for off-lead work or when the dogs need a little extra reminding! We start on a vibrate level then use stimulation only when needed.

We use the same techniques for bird dog training as we do basic obedience! Dogs thrive when they enjoy their training!
