PC Markem Oaks AKA Murdoc is a 2019 JR stallion. When we started our search back in 2019 for a stud prospect we wanted something that was versatile with good bone and substance. I called Tigh Cowan with T4 Quarter Horses and talked to him about what we were looking for to start our program. Tigh was so patient and answered all my questions. We decided to go with a little red roan with what looked like a chopped off tail. Tigh assured me it wasn’t and the deal was made.
When I look back at the leap of faith we took buying Murdoc after seeing two pictures I couldn’t be happier. Tigh was spot on he has the bone and substance we were looking for but he is even better than we imagined. He is kind, smart, and athletic. He floats across the ground and moves effortlessly.
His first foal crop hit the ground this spring he stamped them with a pretty roan coat and some catty moves. We have some exciting crosses next year including two Knight Robber daughters PS. if you didn’t know there were two Knight Robber geldings at the NFR one being Jeremy Buhler’s heel horse Hoss and the other being Riley Minors borrowed head horse Piggy from Bucky and Amy Campbell.
We are hoping to enter him in some futurities this year so breeding to outside mares could be limited. Special consideration to proven mares and multiple mare discounts. $550.00 LFG He is 5 panel negative and stands 15h tall. We offer cooled shipped semen and live cover.
