Reflective gear for dogs and those who walk/run/hike with them is highly recommended for this time of year. There are plenty of styles available for both dogs and people. With the shortening days and hunting season opening this Saturday for deer, it's a good idea to have them handy as you go out the door. 🐾🚢🏼🦌

🐢🐱 On Saturday, November 1, Yates County Public Health hosted our final free rabies vaccination clinic of the year at the Yates County Highway Department β€” where Dr. Webb from Eastview Veterinary Clinic, PC vaccinated 46 dogs and 33 cats! That’s 79 pets protected from rabies. πŸ’‰πŸΎ

πŸ™ Huge thanks to our amazing YCPH staff, MRC Volunteers, Eastview Veterinary Clinic, and the Yates County Highway Department for making this clinic possible!

Listed below are November's specials from EVC's Online Store. If you need help setting up an account, please give us a call and Megan would be happy to help! Winter is coming and we love the convenience shipping is for our clients who would rather not tackle the snowy/icy roads. πŸ₯ΆπŸ™€πŸ’Š

We all know dogs LOVE to chew and Oliver is no different. Unfortunately, we often see problems with bones like this one. While having a satisfying chewing session, the bone slipped over Oliver's lower jaw and became stuck. Neither he nor his owners could get it to release. Just as our treatment team was about to sedate Oliver to remove it, Oliver turned his jaw just the right way and it came off! That doesn't happen often but we were all glad it did.

It is important to have chew toys that dogs enjoy but they must be size and shape appropriate for the dog and taken away when they're chewed to a potentially dangerous size or the dogs themselves grow too big to safely enjoy them. Nylabones are often a good choice. We're so thankful it worked out well for this handsome boy. We hope you have a new favorite bone, Oliver! πŸΎπŸ¦΄πŸ€—
