Baby Melon had her first vet visit outside of the shelter on Wednesday! Aside from a minor ear infection and hookworms, she is perfectly healthy! The vet has no concerns for any health issues from being so premature and small - she’s expected to continue to grow like a normal puppy! This is amazing news considering the issues Melon had while bottle feeding. We are so grateful!

We have some exciting news! Tofu is officially ADOPTED!

In a wonderful story of paths crossing at just the right time, this wonderful Pensacola native family who currently resides in Texas saw Tofu’s post on their last day of visiting the beach. They reached out, we scheduled a meet and greet, and the rest is history! They had been searching for just the right dog to spoil with their love, and Tofu was everything they had been looking for. It was a perfect match!

We won’t lie - we were getting a little disheartened about finding Tofu’s forever family since he had been with us for a year with minimal adoptive interest. But, as life does, we were reminded at just the right time of why we work so hard at what we do. Although we’ll miss him and his zest for life, we are so glad we finally got to share him with the family of his dreams! Please wish Tofu luck on his next adventure!

One year. 365 days.

That’s how long Tofu has been with us, looking for his forever home. This sweet, energetic, happy soul deserves our continued effort to find that for him! Being housed by 3 different trainers, Tofu has a wealth of knowledge in obedience and some fun commands. He is dog and cat friendly. He would be the perfect buddy for an active person/family - enjoying hikes, off leash field runs, running, and swimming. He has so much love to give, we’re just waiting for someone to give him the chance!

Since he’s coming up on his ONE YEAR in rescue anniversary, Tofu told Santa he wished for his very own forever family. Let’s help him make his wish come true!

We had a Match-making success!

Ollie’s awesome owners were looking for a second pup to open their home to so they filled out our Match-making form for help finding the perfect addition! After going on the hunt, we found this beautiful Husky at our local animal shelter, scheduled a meet and greet, and she got to go home yesterday after winning over both her new parents and Ollie! She does not have a new name yet as mom and dad want to get to know her more to make sure they pick out the perfect one. So far they have liked Kid and Regan - drop your name ideas below!

Today he got to meet Tyler Phillips with Octavius Real Estate when they brought a giant bag of kibble! Tofu LOVES to eat so he was super excited for the gift! Thank you so much, Tyler!

Tofu enjoyed some time downtown this morning at our ReviveK9 Dog Training: Pensacola Coffee & Canines pack walk! He got to say hi to a couple dogs and had the best time walking Palafox!
