I had a photoshoot scheduled for mid July for Gunner and I. After I found out the news I quickly contacted my photographer and she was able to get me in the following day. She so graciously moved her clients around to fit us in, because I wasn’t sure how long he had left.
We met at Navarre beach around sunset.
This may have been one of Gunners last adventures on this earth. During the shoot Gunner was so happy to be at the beach, he even stuck his head out the window on the way there for a moment, he showed glimmers of happiness, he played fetch and showed off a couple of his skills, some tricks he couldn’t do because it caused him too much pain. 😢
She was able to capture these special memories I will cherish forever.
