What a difference a year makes! Nearly a year ago we launched Dakota’s Legacy and Phoebe was just 10 days old when she came into our care. Her leg hasn’t slowed her down and she’s been the happiest dog - addicted to hugs and making friends. Happy early birthday to our rescue’s resident goofball and mascot.

This was a heartwarming week as Horchata and Macchiato found their forever homes. Both kittens have been waiting for that special family, and today their dreams came true. Horchata’s family fell in love with his playful personality and loud purrs. He was recovering from pneumonia at the first meeting and he was finally cleared to go home. Macchiato’s new family instantly fell in love with her friendly and lively spirit. It is clear that Horchata and Macchiato have found a place where they will be loved and cherished forever. Here's to new beginnings and happy tails! 🐾
